A very good story that was wonderful in it's own right. I must say though, I saw a lot of potential for a much longer multi-chapter story arc. I would have loved to see the storyline fleshed out more into an arc that followed Praxis a little deeper in Marine Corp training, and then him and perhaps other Creleans from world to world, perhaps watching as they learned more about how to be part of a company of human Marines, perhaps see them reveal previously unnoticed abilities that were unique to the Creleans, yet were so common to them as to not be mentioned by them, abilities that surprised the humans due to unique advantages they gave in combat and the sudden realization of that by Praxis. I would have loved to follow and watch Praxis and the other Creleans as they slowly learned and matured in the art of warfare.... human Marine Corp style warfare, which had no equal in the galaxy. But be all that as it may, I still greatly enjoyed the story as it was presented. Thanks.

Its strange..ive been studying it a bit. There are parts wher it strangely repeats itself using different prose. I think it is AI generated. Lol...i used to think piers anthony was a bot he wrote so much so fast. But he was just really formulaic .

I didn't notice your complaints, maybe your comments had the author clean up any "stilted and lifeless" prose, though I do think the story was presented in a very juvenile style...children's library scifi. But that seems to be a common problem with this type of science fiction narration.
