Drawback chess, but you need to guess your opponents drawback correctly before you mate him
@ChaseJonas756 ай бұрын
That would actually be interesting. Maybe they should program in a list that you can guess from for your move. If you guess correctly, now you know their drawback, but if you don’t, then they get a free turn.

There is actually a use for the "reveal" button. It's almost always a bad idea to resign, because for all you know your opponent could lose next move due to their drawback. If you're winning and your drawback won't stop that, you can reveal it so that your opponent knows they can actually resign.

1:35 wouldn't Qxf7+ be a checkmate with your drawback? The opponent did not see that either
@whocares22776 ай бұрын
The game doesn't have checkmate, you need to capture the king. Simp's opponent couldn't do that before promoting a pawn due to their own drawback so they had to ravage through the position for a bit more.
@panda42476 ай бұрын
@@whocares2277 ah yes, but Simp does not know that :) (and neither did I when I wrote the comment, we found out at the end of the video... and to be honest, by that time I completely forgot about this situation) (and by checkmate, I mean a situation where Simp cannot avoid to be captured on the next move) But in that case: when Simp realized that it was a checkmate and the opponent did not do it, maybe it's an extra information for him (e.g. either the opponent does not see it, or he might have a drawback that he cannot checkmate me yet)
@whocares22776 ай бұрын

@asdfqwerty145876 ай бұрын
I think it's probably not so bad if you don't have to reveal it, because people obviously don't want to put their queen in a position where it could be attacked if they don't know what your drawback is.. but when it's revealed, there's really just nothing you can do (except maybe try to guess what the opponent's drawback is and hope it's somehow even more crippling).
