I’m always taken aback that people are like, “Who are you talking to?” as a criticism when movies do have a character speaking when they’re alone. I talk to myself all the time when I’m alone. If I was in the same situation that’s in this movie, I’d be constantly talking.

Thank you Andy, Andy and Andy. The lack of dialogue in a film genuinely appeals to me. As you know, I am only days from retirement and I am too old for clichés. If I tell you my reasons, I will have to start 3 days earlier, before the invasion/disease/murders/events happened. Let me get this straight, I have a bad feeling about unnecessary dialogue. There is only one way to end this. If it bleeds money, we can kill it.

Honestly, I'd have paid good money to see the Wet Bandits in this movie. Still, I liked this movie! Brynn is a great character, and the actress did a wonderful job at expressing her thoughts and emotions via facial and body language. I actually thought the ending was kind of wholesome. I think you explained why they went to town which was necessary for the character study. I just wonder, what happened to the black bus driver? This was one of the best movies I've seen in at least 10 years. One line of dialog. I was gripped and tearing the whole time. The flaws are staggering but they are overshined by light years of good wholesome visual storytelling. I actually don't watch movies anymore because wasting my time does not make sense. This gives me hope that movies can still be good. It did not waste my time even after the 4th watchdown.

I agree in everything Andy! There's always something with a new and good movie, which is not something that often because most of them are meh. In this case i would've like more suspense and not having the alien reveal that quick because the fear is to encounter the monster, not seeing it.

Agreed 💯 I had seen a commercial for it so I had been waiting for it to come out and the day it was released I was sick as a dog 😷 like so so so very sick. Fever and they whole bit. I had trouble the first few mins as they set up the story but the moment it first invades her house I was hooked. Fever be damned I made it thru that shit glued to the TV. Honestly it wasn't until it was nearly over and she spoke her one line before I realized there hadn't been any actual dialogue the whole time! And tbh when I realized that it just made me love the film even more. I can't remember the last time a PG-13 horror flick actually disturbed me. And the noises the Greys made were totally unnerving. The minute the movie was over and the endorphin buzz I caught while watching ended I crashed so fucking hard and had bad dreams about being chased by an Uber tall and lanky, arm contorting, triple jointed Greys. That shit fucked me up NGL

I agree with most of what you said, it's indeed bold, creative, the first act is the best part of the movie, the aliens should have staid in the shadows longer and the sound design was great. I wasn't particularly fond of the ending, but as a whole. It made for a fun watch.

The ending really put me off the main character who I had sympathized with to a degree for the most part. But that she was happy for the rest of humanity to be killed or controlled so long as she was happy made me dislike her. She wasn't some poor innocent victim of society. She caved her friends head in with a rock. That would usually end up with years in prison. She was lucky to even be walking the streets. Is that why the aliens took pity on her and no one else? Because she was a monster like them? It certainly isn't because they're misunderstood outsiders. the aliens viciously attacked people. They didn't come in peace and were misunderstood.
