You always make things look easy and beautiful. I believe you when you say "Don't overthink it!". Words for my ears because it takes me forever to make one card.

Thank you so much for this message; I have been there with you so often. I usually end up doing too much when it was great 10 steps ago. :)

This quickie is a gem! Never thought to use hearts as balloons (I even have lots of dies and punches) so that's even better and faster. Many thanks, Mary!

great tips! and cards! Press & Seal is so useful. I have been known to use my glitter marker to fill in areas of embossing that may miss and need to redo. (I never can find my embossing markers and glitter markers are all around my work area. Embossing powder will stick to the glitter pen residue.

I can never get the anti static powder cleaned off my panel after I finish the heat embossing.

I've started using a dry Swiffer sheet and it seems to work ok. Hope that helps. Mary might have an even better suggestion.

Great tip! I use a micr fiber cloth, there's a white one from the auto section of the USA dollar tree that's perfect

@marypolancodesigns I just saw those yesterday when I was there. I never thought of using them that way. Thanks. Back to Dollar Tree I go.

I have a Press 'n Seal observation that may explain your paper tearing. I have used that with layer-stamped die cuts. I am not sure if it was the (admittedly cheap) cardstock I stamped on or if the ink had not fully dried, but I have had that same issue. So I tend to be leery now of using it in that application. So I kind of wonder if maybe your patterned paper might have been a bit damp still from gluing it to the background, & that's why it peeled. I have no definite explanation, of course; just a supposition. Anyway, thank you for the tips & sharing your cute cards, Mary. Take care, & I hope you have a fabulous day, & happy Thanksgiving if I don't "see" you before then! :)

FANTASTIC observation, I bet you that is exactly what happened. It's sturdy patterned paper but i would say 65lb weight so not too thick. Great call and thanks for sharing!
