One day at a time. You have to take it one day at a time. There's no race, there's no rush. There's just you and what is important to you. You want to be happy NOW. So don't focus on the 'being'.. just focus on what you are feeling at the moment, and make the negative feelings go away. Trust me, you're not alone. Trust me, so many of us understand. Your post is from two months ago, and I don't know you - I just hope you're feeling better.

Ridding of the feeling can help. It is one step to recovery. Being depressed is something that is wrong the reaction of the brain from stress. I'm not saying you can think your way out but being optimistic is the best way to feel better.

Thank you so much Noah. I've been suffering from the results of mental torment since my instructor in school told me I couldn't reach my goals in 2011. On top of that, the biggest crush I had led me on and spiraled me into heavy depression. Today, my classmates have careers while I'm struggling to get out of this self-made prison. It came to a point of suicidal but my beliefs in God was the only string holding me back from commiting the act. I am a heavy video gamer and recreational drug user to help combat the mental and physical exhaustion from depression. I watched a couple of your videos on how depression is just that, thoughts. I instantly felt that I could dispel any dark magic my negative thoughts have been clouding me with and I thank you so much for unlocking my first steps to true happiness.

I felt happy for very small moments and then was back to being depressed again. I am slowly training myself to feel happy and erase negative thoughts for good one day at a time. Thank you so much for the relief and answer I needed 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

Wow!! Thank you so much! Ya know, after 30 years of living with both clinical depression and manic depression, trying desperately to unpack and come to terms with the heaps and heaps of childhood trauma and the mental emotional and physical abuse I was give by my family through countless hours of therapy psychiatric help and the crippling social anxiety and feelings of isolation and loneliness as well as the rotating cocktail of medications I have to take just to get up in the morning and not want to swing from the rafters, I didnt know I could fix all that, all of thar with a 30 minute video on youtube!! Thank you!! The advice of 'stop being sad' hasnt seemed to work for the last 30 years. Probably because I enjoy being absolutely terrified of everyone around me and like feeling utterly hollow inside and not able to truly enjoy anything I watch, read or do. Thank you! Im off to skip in a meadow with a rabbit!

I had such intense tightness and pressure in my chest with a racing heart beat when I started watching this and by the end of the video it was nearly gone. This is after not being able to get it it to budge for over an hour. When u talked about the pressure in one’s chest, I felt like u were talking to me and could see my struggles. U sent my mind everywhere and also nowhere so many times during this video and I just wanted to follow u through the conversation and understand u without using my mind. Shutting off the little voice in my mind that controls me everyday and instead using my flesh and bones to internalize ur words so I could take control over myself. It was really difficult but a helpful exercise and I think I’m going to come back to this video in the future. Thank you

It's a feeling, exactly. It has been created by my thoughts because my brain believed it. Believed that I was going crazy. Believed that I am never gonna get better, believed that I have no point in life if I'm gonna deal with this forever". I have this with intense and severe anxiety. I know that in reality I went through so much stress that it made my mind too weak to understand negative thoughts. All the panic attacks I went through caused me to have a mental breakdown. I know that I can believe my way to feel okay. My thoughts convince me the most negative things ever but this has rough me a lot of relief but when I'm with these thoughts I get scared immediately and believe them. It's all the intrusive thoughts and the OCD symptom of depression. My thoguhts fight to stay negative and I have to keep reminding myself that it's not real. It's pattern of thinking due to believing these bad thoughts.

I'm not going to get into how much medication or therapy I've had to take so far, but I simply thank God for having stumbled upon your video "How To Stop Feeling Depressed " when I did. Words cannot express my gratitude, the relief I feel or what it means to me. I watch the "How To Stop Feeling Depressed - Instant Relief From Depression" video every day so I can remind myself how to stay in the moment. I'm very concerned that this video will be taken off your blog as you add new ones. I don't know that there's a way to download this specific video from KZbin to my Laptop. Watching this video exactly three years ago transformed my life: I remember watching it with so much clearance and it gave me so many guidance into exploring who I was inside and that I wasn't just my thoughts or what they told who I was. I didn't change completly from one day or another, many other things did. But this video for sure was one of the first experiences who gave me fate again. And I am very grateful and thankful to Noah, who found the way to talk to my inner child that was very lost in a very hard time of my life. I wish you all to get the same inspiration for your own path and that this video and its teaching will find you well and give you hope for a better futur.

@@lolpatrick1540 I'm pretty much sure of that brother. One of the first realization to get out of a misery is to realize that you are not your thoughts. And that you are the one who can guide them, even through storm.

hi. I've had quite a few bad years of all sorts of pretty negative things happen to me. I've saught guidance from guru's such as Eckhart Tolle & Mooji. I have found a profound connection to Self, but as you, I and pretty much everyone else can relate to... the mind NEVER stops trying to interrupt. I found your videos while seeking comfort in a very negative break up/divorce and I just want to say thank you. you really have helped me tap back into that inner peace I sort of lost amongst the barrage of thought. thank you

Here lately I've been watching a lot of your videos to help clear all my thoughts, good or bad, whether it's my worries of finding a partner, what I where I'll be in 5, 10, 15 years from now and what I plan for my life and just end up over-thinking. Your videos definitely help me understand more that lots of things in life are just there(not good or bad), that you can silence your thoughts and you from over-thinking. Again these videos have helped me get to the root to my thoughts and how to go about addressing my thoughts and how to live more in the moment with peace.
