If I have 2 monitors one 4K and the other 720P did the layout do adaptation when moving one to other?
@filmsbytomasz
@filmsbytomasz Жыл бұрын
layout will resize with the window size, but you might need some manual fine-tuning - 4K -> 720 is a pretty big jump

If I want to connect Omniscope straight with my clean signal from Blackmagic UltraStudio 4K Mini. I see this on the list connection but do not really know how to get this signal.
@filmsbytomasz
@filmsbytomasz Жыл бұрын
You'd need to loop-back the signal. OmniScope needs input signal, so let's say you are outputting the signal from Resolve to your grading monitor through HDMI out, loop back SDI out to SDI in, and then OmniScope should be able to read that SDI in signal. Hope this makes sense!

@@filmsbytomasz I do not know if I understand correctly. Should I buy an SDI to SDI cable and run it between the SDI in and out of my Ultrastudio 4k Mini? Niewiem czy mniejwięcej o to chodzi Or maybe sdi out signal from the ultra studio via e.g. Blackmagic Design UltraStudio Recorder 3G to Thunderbolt in computer

@@Elslawoy If you don't currently use your SDI in and SDI out ports, and you want to run OmniScope on the same machine as Resolve - then yes, SDI to SDI cable is enough to connect SDI in to SDI out in your Ultrastudio 4K Mini and you don't need any other devices.

@@filmsbytomasz Thanks Tomasz Looks like a better solution than using a second computer for Omniscope

When you say to use Nobe on a dedicated computer you will need also the Black magic design ultra studio box are you referring to the 3g mini recorder, 4k mini monitor ? I want to get these scopes and run it on a separate computer I just not 100% sure which Ultra studio version I need so that it will work. If you could reply with a link that would be tremendous help to me.

You need a card with an input SDI/HDMI port. Could be UltraStudio Mini Recorder (thunderbolt) or DeckLink MiniRecorder (PCIe) or any other card with multiple I/O (UltraStudio 4K Mini, etc).

@@filmsbytomasz I know you answered this already and I really appreciate your assistance but I need clarification. I received my Mac mini and Ultra studio. I connected an HDMi to my Decklink in my PC to the ultra studio. Do I need a Thunderbolt cable from the ultra studio to the Mac Mini? Also to connect to my 4th monitor do I connect an HDMI from the Mac Mini to the monitor? Or do I connect a Thunderbolt to the Ultra studio and connect that to the fourth monitor?

How to work with Adobe Lightroom? It is not at all clear
@filmsbytomasz
@filmsbytomasz 3 жыл бұрын
You simply use a "Screen Capture" source, then select a source screen (if you have more than one) and lastly use View / Crop feature to select an image within Lightroom window for real-time monitoring.

@@filmsbytomasz is there a way to set this up if you don't have a secondary monitor?
@filmsbytomasz
@filmsbytomasz 2 жыл бұрын
@@jacobluevano7971 yes, you can place OmniScope covering half of your screen and set it up to monitor a second half (with Photoshop, Lightroom, etc)
