Hey Dillon, been binge watching your videos for a while... love'em! I live in Poland and can confirm that Nurt doesn't grow on trees here! It was a relatively small pressing compared to the standard pressing size at the time, and it's pretty sought after in Poland in general, and especially in their home town of Wrocław. In spite of being from 1973, there are both mono and stereo pressings (I have both). And like most Polish records, a) the cover is always whipped, and b) it's hard to find it in decent shape, as people didn't always have access to decent gear, and there are so many old records here with groove damage. Plus, hard rock records got partied to, vodka flowed, things got scratched. Oh... one more thing! While the word "nurt" does indeed mean trend, the primary meaning is current-like a river, not electricity (that's a different word). So when we use it to talk about trends, we're talking about a stream. In fact, "główny nurt" literally means "mainstream". There ya go, some perfectly useless nerdy info for ya! Thanks for all the vids! PS: This was never released back in the day, so you can only find it as a newer archival release, but I totally recommend Grupa Stress-a hard rocking power trio from Poznań (where I have lived for a decade) from the early 1970s!

Also, my camera roll is peppered with screenshots of you holding up jackets 👍. My one grail that I’ve actively been hunting is Deftones’ 2011 Vinyl Collection. I know its newer and I know its more mainstream but the hobby is relatively new to me. The limited nature of the release has kept it out of reach. I was one that was on a budget and wanted to purchase LP's that I felt would leave a lasting impression for years to come. I love this video because now your cooking with gas, you are presenting music that is superior to most and takes a love of music to know of these albums showing who you really are. In the 60's my friends gravitated to my music because everyone had access to The Beatles or Pink Floyd but not my gems (Stooges, 13 fl Elevator, MC5, Velvets, Electric Prunes, Seeds, Monks, Blue Cheer , Detroit etc). Yes. I’m now gonna be 56 years young in June 5th so I’m kinda thinking of that time before they made it really BIG lol; I started swinging down memory lane and just found your channel this morning and I’ve been watching you all day today letting it run and I did subscribe to Noble records just now and really enjoying 😊 your insights into my #1 love ❤️ Muzik no matter what genres except for the new country music 💩 coming out today and prefer George Jones & Tammy Wynette over all the garbage polluting the media/ airwaves. So Did’ja know any of the guys from Corrosion Of Conformity’s line up or what? Just figured maybe you’re from the same neck of the woods is all. I ❤️ this stuff so where ya been all my life bro’ lol You’re funny as fuck all! I’m officially a fan as of now! 👏 Sincerely yours, DJP ex PostMortem and Kilslug Boston Massachusetts 🇺🇸 Amerikkka of course 🇨🇳 (soon!)

These 2 vinyl records are not and never have been available on vinyl record in the USA. They're only available on cassette tape and music cd in the USA. As for the vinyl record versions, they're only available on import. At the time of the year each one was released, Vol. 1 The Shorts 1992 and Vol. 2 1993, I never, ever found them on vinyl record in any store, here in America. Keep spinning the vinyl!

I got a lot of early punk stuff from the late 70's, some of it pretty obscure, others are early pre-big label records of groups that later became better known. Got them, mostly imports from England, at small record shops in Manhattan when they were new. Just been collecting dust for years and I never thought they might be worth anything. Maybe they are, maybe they aren't, but I have to go through them. The records you show here are pretty obscure, like you might come across them at a yard sale and nobody but collectors and specialists would know they were worth anything, and the fact that they're so sought after makes me think maybe some of the obscure punk stuff I have might have people looking for them. Not counting on anything, but you never know what other people want.

Thank you Dylan like someone who opened a treasure chest and saw what was inside. Looked up and listened to some music on Spotify and there were certainly some music gems in between. Dylan congratulations on your new acquisitions, wonder how many LPs you own. Greetings from Holland😀 ✋🏻

I think it's OK if you use "grails," because upfront people know you're talking about 25 records; that gives context to your use of the world. I'm glad you're collecting good stuff and are enjoying yourself. (And THE grail is a Buddy Bolden recording -- not even "record," just any recording.)

I hit my local record stores last night after work and found the Numero reissue of Josefus Dead Man in the used bins for $10. I took it as a sign that I should buy it since you mentioned them here. :-)

@@noblerecords Thanks! Incidentally, I live in Cedar Rapids, IA-- the home of BillyLee Janey of Truth and Janey fame. Lots of rumors of copies of No Rest for the Wicked in people's basements and the occasional copy that shows up in the stores around here. BillyLee is still kicking around here playing, which is pretty cool.

I think my grail at the moment might be a good clean copy of Plastic Love by Mariya Takeuchi, an example of Japanese City Pop, I think. Not Dillons cup of tea I would think, but its just a song I listen to a lot and I like the chords and melody. Love all the Noble Records videos, an education.

Hard 'n heavy, that's also what she said. Would love a Toad or an Orang-utan around my pad too. Jacob is the man. I prefer Josefus on Mainstream a little more too. Spotted an original Dead Man when I was in TX once. I've actually never heard Magnum, but the cover looks vaguely familiar. Philip Lewin's 2nd album is a nice one too. More on the lounge side. Guinness had some cool titles for sure. Really want a Troyka & Eternity's Children too damn it! Purple Image. 💣 💣 💣

Haha! Yeah I’m actually getting Lewin’s 2nd as well, it’s in the Mail. Thanks for watching!
