Some jars can handle the intense heat but shaking boiling water isn't what I'd do. Letting very warm water sit in the closed jar will liquify the honey.

I just hit the bottom of the jar with the heel of my hand. It releases the vacuum seal. If that doesn’t work just tap the edge of the lid on the counter top. Also releases the seal ! 🦭
