I'm learning this yesterday/today. Coming from a LONG 40 year narc abuse, I'm approaching life cautiously. Offering a ride to someone, I planned my afternoon around her requests, I called 15 minutes late, she was eating her "take out" I would have to wait! She failed to forget who was driving the car needed to get to the dang store. So now she has spread I'm a bitch because I wouldn't let her eat. I did tell her to finish and I would wait. STILL being nice, nope, after waiting since noon time, she wasted my day. There's more, that was three strikes, you're out. The other two were time issues, but did not involve my car or my driving. You can only help those who will accept friendship AS HELP. Strike 2 as a single senior for 18 months. I am not liking it, not happy and it's a really lonely place after narcissistic isolation is completed. I hope I find more hope out there soon...... The ocean is calling in Florida, just need a small beach front home.......

Good job, you didn't let her used you. it made her crazy because now she knows you respect yourself enough to set boundaries. Take care of yourself and one day you will meet your people, the ones who really care, who will be happy to help and receive your help. The ones who will sherish your friendships.

Any negative comments about these two highly successful women, who are in service to others to bring value and make other’s lives better is simply a reflection of their own inner turmoil, smallness and self hate. I laugh anytime anyone acuses another of arrogance. It’s a reflection of how little they feel inside. I would never call Evy arrogant. She’s self assured, portrays the self confidence and presence we all aim to have/be. Bravo for such an inspiring show and the well-curated guests you bring to conversation Lisa!

9:50 Spot on! My parents are refugees from the Vietnam War; they grew up there during the war. In fact, my mom's house got blown up. Anyways, they came to America and had a family. When I graduated high school, I was going to join the military since I needed direction in my life and didn't know where to go. My parents were against it. Instead, I went to college the way they wanted me to, but the whole time I thought about the military. I graduated during the housing market crash and couldn't find a job, so I ended up joining anyways. Most of my family were unsupportive. I had to leave due to medical reasons less than a year later, but I'm glad I gave it a shot. Not only will a NOT spend my life wondering "what if", had I not have that experience, I wouldn't have gone back to school to become a Physical Therapist Assistant.

I want to point out when Lisa read out the comment about not wanting to have kids I don't think people realise telling someone to have kids it's not your choice if they have them. People will say have kids but won't help with raising the children. If you don't want kids feel no shame about this because it's your life you have autonomy over it not others.

Being raised Greek this really hit home. Never fit in, since I was adopted. And the Greeks made sure they reminded me I was not biological Greek. But then, boundaries are needed. Sad but true. So I walked away from my growing up. Lost. Thought I could talk to Greek people from my past, but do not want anything to do with their life style. Good and bad every where. Hermit now because of lies. Sad. I do like to hear from both of you because my Mom was straight from Greece. I took it too far and believed Greeks that where crossing boundaries because I gave them too much respect. All the time ,. They where laughing at me. I made the mistake of not seeing the signs because my mind was on how they were, not how they changed. Eyes open now

But if I see I'm just being distracted from achieving my goals, then the guest should leave asap 😂 2) Understanding that it's not my job to convince people about my life's choices & that I'm the only one who's responsible about my future. 3) Distancing emotions from thoughts to see clearly & logically. I LOVE these two women. I am so glad I came across this channel. I can only say that the ones that hate are riddled with pure evil.and jealousy. And that is one very destructive most horrible emotion and traits in anyone. These two ladies are angels in my eyes. Thank God for them. They are strong beautiful and good hearted and only aggressive when seriously provoked by haters. Haters hate everybody. And are a pain in the arse to this earth. I've had many. Just remember . That anyone that hates anyone that much. The way they treat you is a reflection on n you is a reflection on their own character. Who wanyts to be around that. My cure is to dump them. I used to let things go but not any more. I let them go a whole lot quicker. Life s too short to be having to put up with that kind of shit. I haven't got the time for it. Life is hard enough. I thank you two lovely ladies for your outlook on life and how you handle people. It's been very empowering listening to you both. I' ve just ordered your books. Radical Confidence by you Lisa and Bulletproof Your life by you Evy. I am so looking forward to getting them. I' ve heard so much about yours Evy. You've got great reviews about yours. Lisa I'm sure yours is great as well. I love you both on screen so I know I'm going to love both of you in those books. You're the kind of women I wish I met years ago. Lisa keep up with your art. I AM UNSTOPPABLE 😎😉 My favorite takeaway from this episode is about people self selecting themselves out, because they don't think they can, they're worthy of something, etc. !! Like what :)) How many times have we all done this to ourselves ! No more ✌️ Because people who believe they can are the ones who actually make things happen in their lives. So, I thought I will participate in this contest, cause WHY NOT. Thank you SO MUCH, Evy and Lisa, I learned many things of value from both of you, ladies !! 😉❤️

I AM UNSTOPPABLE I love your relationship, cause I feel when you come together you bring the best out of each other. I wish I had Evy's ability to listen to myself instead of being a people pleaser for years. Growing with no examples of assertivity it's being so hard to quit my past identity and create a new one where I actually live like myself. This episodes are my empowering source and of many many more. Thank you 💕

Great conversation and great advice. Unfortunately, society is full of haters whose purpose in life is to watch, judge, shame and try to stop others progress in life out of shear jealousy, envy and the need to control. What do you do when the smear campaign is done in a such a covert way that you are not even aware of?

I think you live your life with integrity that *demonstrates* that they’re wrong. And surround yourself with people who are smart enough to know the difference between rhetoric bs and reality. Realize that the problem is theirs. And shine on.

The Ted X , you can only sense a little bit you didn’t own it! - you can only see it SOOO clearly now! Because of how much you own it now! It is an amazing opportunity to see how what you say and do Evy, if applied can lead to growth! It’s a glowing example!! I’m so glad you did all of it xx

Lisa and Evy are so inspiring and great role models for women. We need more of you! "We can impact others in a million different ways" - Lisa. "You never let anybody make you a victim" - Evy. I was in tears hearing Evy's dad's struggle when they immigrated to America, reminded me of how strong my parents were as immigrants in their late 40s and how hard they worked to make a living and to support their children.”I Am Unstoppable”! - my dream come true if I can spend a day with Lisa and Evy!!!

Your style threw me off at first only because I don't see a lot of people confident in their style. But it actually inspired me to start expressing my own style and not hiding who I am for others. I was also bullied for how I dressed as a kid and now I'm trying to bridge the gap

I wanted to share that my sister and I both found Evy in different ways and had purchased her “Bulletproof “ book but until recently started talking about life and what has helped, both of us were so happy to be on the same journey with Evy’s book. I am always outspoken and lead in whatever job I am given, while my sister is soft spoken and goes with the group kinda person. We are both strong individuals but found ourselves growing stronger with this channel and Evy’s book. Thank you for sharing your love and guidance.

I get emotional watching them have conversations. They listen to each other. They both feel real and it seems like they can differ on outlooks and still be friends - like they’re still fully themselves together. and they respect aeach other and we need more of that vibe modeled in this world.

This lady that criticized your looks just wasn’t consciously ready to become your viewer. How can so narrow minded even understand your content. Your show is great with you looking whatever you like!🌞💪🏻😊 I wouldn’t bother about people like that because there are fans across the world that like you the way you are. Keep going!
