So much to explore here and I’m only just touching the surface with this video. More to come as I learn it myself. Remember, to be a teacher you only need to be one chapter ahead of the student! Share your learnings as much as you can.

It would be better if the UV grid could be moved and scaled, and I want to merge multiple UVs into one

Thanks Glen…been checking daily for this video! Great new features. Inching closer & closer to character rigging. Also, it’s Friday, so I think a beer is in order…to celebrate this update. ✊🍺🎩🎩🎩

I used the instancing feature to make fingers for a hand sculpt. It was pretty cool to only sculpt one finger and have the changes applied to all other fingers

I love all of the new updates and changes. One thing I’m either missing or it has changed is the ability to set custom keyboard shortcuts for tools. The tools I use most frequently I set from 1-4 by simply lining them up in the numerical order I’d like, sadly now that seems to be gone. I know I will get used to it, but it is a feature I miss.

Hmmm…not so sure. I’ll look through the change log

Hello, thanks for the tutorials. What kind of cable are you using to connect the iPad to the monitor and charge it at the same time? (model & brand) Thanks!

The Groups are such an awesome feature. 🤩 Even better, each group can have its own pivot, independent of the mesh it contains. Reminds me a bit of Blenders Edit- and Object mode. Is there a way to lock meshes from being selected? (So that you could only select groups-nodes for example)

Hey @SouthernGFX , what tablet did you use for this demo? I'm interested in trying mobile sculpting
@SouthernGFX2 жыл бұрын
This was the M1 16GB Ipad but we use a few different models. I keep all my old models so I can always test. It works on a Phone really well but you need to buy a stylus that works.

Why dont you try it with an android emulator? They are a few good ones like Nox player or LCD player it might work but I dont know if pressure sensitibity is supported xD another thing if you want shortcuts just map buttons to the emulator interface. I see alot of potential there though I havent try them, I use Zbrush 🙂.

You can use instance like a pseudo viewport. Its not perfect but it works 😂

One thing, i dont suppose anyone has been able to get insert to actually work with the radial symmetry now? i followed the old video to the letter for it but it just plonked a single shape instead of radial.

It's not this exactly, but the same person has also released a web-based (w/ optional download) program called SculptGL that you might want to check out if you haven't. It's not particularly fancy-looking, but it seems robust, and is fast in my limited experience.

I am using a 16GB machine here. Apple currently only allows any single app to use 12GB of that 16. It’s nothing to do with Nomad. However, 12GB is more than enough for most jobs I’ve found.

Thing I hate about this program the most is.. No built in view for front and side views image Planes so everyone can enjoy sculpting. There is a very long clunky workaround, developers don't seem to care.
@peippou2 жыл бұрын
It's built by a single developer, not developers. Amazing app for a measly $15, and just keeps getting better. Maybe keep the expections in check a bit?
