He saved wood for years until he had a purpose for it, they built the interior of the bus around their artwork, he used more than one type of wood. This bus is truly a work of art.

As a long time woodworker (not a "master") myself, and and long time amateur photographer, the main thing I would've focused on to illustrate his craftsmanship, would be close-ups of examples of such.

I’d like to keep the existing bus ceiling for attaching artwork with magnets so I can keep a lot of my art prints

The zero gravity lounge chairs are excellent for everyday use. Buy from Costco seasonally for $60 as they are overpriced on Amazon. They save your back, even for living room use in a house. No more back compression. They fold up flat when not in use, function like a traditional chair or lounge chair. Goodbye sciatic nerve pinching, lower vertebra compression, no more pain. Use this instead of a pricey recliner in your house to alleviate and prevent back pain. Love the C channel metal edging on the walls. I think that is an ingenious way to build a lean profile wall. How do you attach the wall at the base and ceiling? Do you need to brace it diagonally? I'm a novice at wood working, so would appreciate this tip. Pity we never got to see the shower area if any and only brief view of bathroom, and no view of closet or battery electronic setup. Please devote some time to showing the guts of the van not just the surface decor and too much face time. Please show the van not the man.

Eric is so talented he is a true artist, I just wonder what kind of build he could really come up with If the materials were unlimited and If he had all the time to take the build slowly. Yeah, I don't understand these people that are building tiny and going tiny but always think about a place for guests to sleep. I think it should be about your tiny/small space and friends and family should respect your tiny space and not ask to stay all night or go with you. Just silly.
@richardmccombs6174 жыл бұрын
Nice build , hope they did the bulet proof rebuild to that 6.0. Don't understand the people who have the desiel heaters with separate tank when they have a desiel bus. Tap into main tank ! If you worry about not managing your fuel , carry a Gerry can! Just saying.

I am from Wisconsin...this is pretty cool....i do drive truck so i do have my "tiny" home on the road! lol
@ec98334 жыл бұрын
jax theladytrucker my 16 year old, commenting on all the trucks we inevitably see, at the truck stops we inevitably go to, on the daily, traveling as we do, said, "Truck drivers should make their cabs into tiny homes...". ☺️ "They are tiny homes, a lot of them..." "REALLY???!!" LOL One of those many "aha!"/"no way!" moments we collect in our adolescence. 😆

I am from Wisconsin too! I would love to travel in a bus like yours. A friend of ours travels in a smaller bus. Cant remember what he has tho. Love your layout. I noticed....no shower? Do you tend to park where a shower is available? Have fun!

Craftmanship is excellent but that bus would be way too small for me I've got a 36ft motorhome and it's a little cramped at times, moving table etc. to make the bed out is just a pain every night

Jimmy Spin oh honey...you wouldn't, couldn't know. This man is the sh#t. A heart of gold to go along with. Maybe see his work in person... And, maybe you're seeing wonky things because you're never level in a converted rig? Could be several things but one thing it isn't, is Eric's work. 💁🏽♀️
@YahDude4 жыл бұрын
This thing probably gets 6mpg, that expensive sprinters going to look pretty cheap soon. Nice build though.
@RustyZipper4 жыл бұрын
There are apps where you can compare mileage and fuel savings. It requires many miles to offset the difference. Plus the sprinters are more narrow, pretty flimsy and like she couldn’t say: junk
@YahDude4 жыл бұрын
@@RustyZipper Who says Sprinters are junk? Only the dodge of certain years had issues. I've read articles of people who've driven these buses for a living and said you couldn't pay them to build out of one. A sprinter or other van nearing 20mpg will quickly pay for itself over a bus getting 10 or under when you're traveling around the US, not only that, if this is diesel you're paying more in gas. There's a lot of factors to consider, how many miles you're driving and such, what the maintenance costs are typically etc. A bus is probably a good choice if you're standing still most of the time.
@RustyZipper4 жыл бұрын
The Dude - well said. Where I live there are a lot of folks living on beautiful Yachts during the summer. I ask the employees if they ever leave the marina and they say:” no, they can’t afford the fuel!” They just sit in the smelly Harbor drinking wine in the hot sun ☀️ it’s my idea of hell! But for them it’s paradise. A Sprinter would be good for a single person or couples weekend warrior but these retired couples want a place to get comfortable and have their space, make it their home, not ram the roads (assuming)
@Wanderboom4 жыл бұрын
A lot of questions about mileage. We average 12 to 14 mpg. It’s a 2005 Ford bulletproofed 6.0 turbo diesel.
