Hey she is absolutely right. You have to be aware of your surroundings. Even if you are not living the van life. When you walking in the streets, when you coming or going from your apartment or when you go shopping or even to the laundry. I'm always aware of my surroundings and whose around. Also definitely listen to your intuition, if you feel uncomfortable or get a feeling of dread in an area leave. Your life is worth it.

The one thing I have learned is this. Whether you’re in the RV or in a car, most people really don’t care. If you’re not drawing attention, most people are doing their thing and don’t even notice unless someone knows about custom-made vans or class B RVs, they’re not really gonna question it or even care. That’s the cool part about it. I lived for eight months, moving between to Walmart parking lot and nobody said one word and I never had one problem. It was truly, amazing lol

I think a lot of your skills come from your military experience, good that you are sharing all this and making people aware of what they should be aware of that they may not have even considered.

You've inspired me to start fasting again. I just have to determine what works for me. I am also a loner - and love my own company. I WFH and am a total homebody. So, I only enjoy watching van life - not one of things I inspire to try. Thank you for sharing a bit of your day with us too. I know I enjoy it immensely. Stay safe.

Normally I never comment on any channels but I felt comfortable enough to find the words. One episode where you were cooking Tuna and Rice. Something that my Grandma would cook. But the ingredients and the way it's cooked is a little different. Way before the word introvert. There was shy or antisocial able. Either way we've come along way. Glad to see how you're navigating the path to your journey. I'm from Michigan. And I was shocked that RV life is limiting/restricted here. I travel throughout Michigan/OH/IN mainly with the Holistic Shows. If you like to attend a show before you leave Michigan? Please reach out and let me know. May you continue to follow your path. Enjoy your journey. No matter how much it'll push/pull you.

Preach sister! I love how you take advantage of each teachable moment. I have learned so much and I'm squirrelling everything away for when I make my move. And that meal looked fantastic. Thank you for sharing. 🐢

I got SUCH a kick out of you enjoying yourself at that Detroit House of Pancakes! Wish I could have transported there! Looked awesome. 😋

I am glad you were able to find surface parking. What limits me to visiting most downtown locales is the parking garage height limits. My van is 7'10" and the garages are too low. I have only been to downtown Detroit once, but I may have to visit again. The architecture is mighty pretty. The old buildings--not the modern ones. 😄

Girl, made me want to get in my car and drive from Maryland to Detroit for those waffles. Haven’t been there in years. You are an inspiration to anyone, van living or not. Be safe. ❤
