Are you serious? You say the air injection pump is wrapped around the serpentine belt? No it's not! You also say to inspect the pipe, while you're pointing to the wiring harness. Why would somebody trust this video if you don't even know what the components are for what we're talking about?

For anyone having this problem I was having same problem after all the video's I tried hooking shop vac up to the hose that goes into breather box from secondary air motor suction hose and I reversed and blew air into it next day light is off been off all day

The air pump does not have a serpentine belt on it, they are electric, the pump pipe is not the pigtail, those two holes on the pump that you see in the video are where the pipe connects to and goes to the valve abd intake. I don't know to trust you if you don't even know what the pump is or how it works.

👍👍I changed this air pump out 10 years ago it took a week for the engine light to turn off, these thieves today are making money off of these obd 2 scanners, they charging you 150 to 250.00 just to hook up their scanner, all these misleading videos are telling people to dismantle their throttle body just to clean it yup, another code thrower. you can clean that throttle body without tearing it apart. introduce Heet or sea foam to you car maintenance list.

Dealing with the same issue, pump is working on cold start I can hear it when I disconnect hose, changed the check valve 2x and inspected all hoses, still have p0411 on my 2.5 Malibu 2013

Kindly make sure that the air pump harness has no open/short. Double-check the air pump circuit for poor electrical connection.

Yes I figured as much I already have new expansion plugs I'm going to clean ports out on Saturday when the weather warms up and hopefully solves the issue

Thanks for the video! I had got the code P0411, P0013, & P0014. Once I replaced parts for 0013&0014 all I have left is the P0411 code. Do I need to let my car do a complete drive cycle before the code and my check engine light come off?

Hello, as you are getting more than one error code, we suggest getting your vehicle visually checked by your local mechanic for further diagnosis.

I have this code change the MAF sensor Secondary air injection pump , air pump converter air pump sensor. BROUGHT IT TO DEALER an they couldn't find a problem while they had it for two months. The only thing I have checked was the 02 sensor I really hope this is the problem because the vehicle has no serious issues except for this P0411 code that I've been dealing

Did you ever find the solution? I have a 2014 Impala 2.5L. I cleaned out the ports and replaced the plugs. Tool apart the secondary air check valve and tested that it still works. Air is coming from the pump on cold start up. You can see this by disconnect the hose going into the check valve and plenty of air is blowing. Maybe I need a new upstream 02 sensor?

What kinda damages on oxygen sensor?

Since its location is in the exhaust stream, it can become contaminated. Also, if maintenance such as air filter and spark plug replacement isn't performed as intended , oxygen sensor can go bad quickly.

Yes. It is less common but in order to pinpoint the cause of the issue, possible parts affecting must be inspected.

@@nondainc I've replaced the Air Pump and the Valve Sensor cleaned out all the ports from carbon build up all air hoses are cleaned replaced with original GM products and I still get this P0411 code. Car is a 2011 Chevy Malibu LS 2.4l ecotec engine.

@@nondainc An Update : Well it wasn't anything but a lose air pump ground wire pump was still working but not as efficient because of the lose ground wire but at least everything is OEM new and ports cleaned don't have to worry about this check engine light anymore. You should mention about secondary air pump ground wire that will also trigger this code.
