I have been trading forex since 2006 and like you I never trade USD pairs. The big difference is that I like volatility so I trade almost exclusively GBP/AUD and GBP/NZD since these two pairs have the highest ATR. Only problem is that they move in tandem with GBP/AUD having a 94% correlation with GBP/NZD on the daily chart so I agree with you that it's best not trading them at the same time. My other favorite pairs are EUR/AUD and EUR/NZD but the correlation is 84% on the daily chart so trading them at the same time is not advisable. On the other hand GBP/JPY only has a correlation of 26% with EUR/AUD so it's a good alternate choice.

Big thanks to VP! I have followed all the advise, I’ve switched to the daily charts, I’m trading EURUSD, EURGBP, GBPCHF and AUDNZD, I’ve backtested my 6 part algorithm and I only look for entries at the close. I manage risk with the ATR and use it to scale out... Well guess what!?.. I’m cutting my losses and letting profits fly! As if by magic! Lol. It 100% works and I can see why. It’s like seeing reality for the first time.

Thank you very much for your podcasts, I’ve been trading on demo account for almost 5 months now. Many channels out there says that demo account is a waste of time, that we can only learn with real account, that we only have the emotions trading real money. I disagree and think that trading has nothing with emotion. Since I started to watch your videos, I can see clearly that I’m not wasting time , specially in that video that you said that you recommend start trading on demo account until we are prepared. I want to thank you for that,I’m far for trading on real account yet but I started to look out there, testing new indicators, being far away from dirty dozen that you mentioned and I can tell you that now ,I’m starting to understand and make more win entry than before your videos. Your channel is the best on KZbin. Once again, thanks you for sharing your knowledge. The day will come , I will come back to your channel and thank you for becoming a profitable trader.

I am just sitting by my Computer watching the ebbs and flow of the EUR/USD and asking myself: " Why didn't I just listen to VP the first time on this very topic?" I had watched this video once before and decided to test VP's thoughts as expressed in it. And, bouy! I have been scratching my head all through the flow, wondering what did I get myself into. Folks, VP ain't messing around! His Logic on this topic is as solid as in all that he has been sharing with his audience. Thanks, VP! I'd be happy to break even with this one with my Straddle.

I recommend IML if you are ready to dig through all their videos and use their IMLTV live sessions. I know a lot of people that have made progress using IML videos. But in addition I recommend that you follow this channel as much as you can. A lot of people joined IML and were expecting magic. Magic is the last thing you should expect joining IML. If you are lucky to be in a team that are focused on trading and not IBO then you will be in the right place. From my experience I think you should have a good understanding of Support/Resistance, Trendlines, Price Action and Candlestick Patterns and you would have had a good foundation.

Very interesting and thought provoking as although I do occasionally trade the euro dollar. I am a trader in the UK, and as such very early in my relationship with the EUR/USD it became blatantly clear to me that the best time to trade it here (UK) was between 10am and 2pm (GMT) "Before" the US market opened. Once the US market became active, the charts became very erratic and extremely hard to utilise any strategy at all. Your comments would be much appreciated.

You are awesome VP. Everything you say just makes sense. I always had a little voice telling me that Forex doesn't work, and now it's gone. Arbitrary and subjective things like news and trend lines are what made me give up Forex in the past before even starting, I wish I could have your videos back then, I would be make living off Forex maybe nowadays.

I was always taught that the EUR/GBP was the worst currency pair to trade. After listening to this video I’m gonna give it a try. The only USD pair that I have ever had success on was the USD/MXN. Nobody ever wants to trade the MXN but I trade for almost the same reasons you listed in this video. I’ve also have had success in the GBP/MXN pair.

Still working my way through your vids and podcasts. Warm glow inside right now that, after watching the majority of your KZbin and podcast material and demo trading for awhile , GBP/CHF is the first live, real money trade I made (still in it at the moment, on a short position) BEFORE seeing this vid. I demo-ed quite a few major pairs, demo-ed this one several times, and there was just something about it that seemed to like falling into line with the Ichimoku parameters.

You confirmed something that I had been thinking. I was looking at a big company 'Forex education company' too--never joined though. It wasn't clear to me that anyone was really making money. Everyone seemed to be all over the place. I was thinking about what he said in another video, about how you don't want to be one of the 'popular kids'. It makes sense that the Big Banks want the majority of people to go one way. That way they can make more money. I think the key is to go under the radar.

The reason people don’t trade chf pairs that much I think is that they don’t have much liquidity. So the candlesticks are quite messy on the lower timeframe, so it would be impossible to read the candlestick pattern. Maybe it’s not the case but it’s the reason I didn’t trade them, which I should definitely change now.

HERE IS MY QUESTION TO YOU @FUME AND @NAUMAN SHEIKH, do you all know how to break down a price chart? Mrcool79, you are are the right path with S/R and trendlines. Do you know how to just put those two together to make a trading method or plan? I am asking because you are on the right path...just focus on your setup. Take the indicators off, focus on what you have and I promise you will see a breakthrough. Trust me. Contact me if you need anything.
@Mrcool1796 жыл бұрын
I mean, trend lines are kinda weird and I believe what VP says about them in his 12 worst technical indicators video. They can literally be drawn anywhere. Same with Fib lines. I always thought it was kinda sketchy and more guess work than an actual method.

Trade what suits you, as long as it makes pips. Because this trading works for this guy, it does not mean it will work for you. Indicators are very popular for a reason, but a lot of traders use price action. If you are comfortable with your trade plan, then trade your plan. It's all about making pips, not about how you make them. I have unsubscribed because this does not suit me.

Love the information so far. Curious as to at 13:47 you call EUR/GBP "the slowest of the 8 majors" when it is not considered (that I know of) a major pair (those pairs that contain a USD/x or x/USD)? I don't think it really matters come to think of it since you have explained why to trade 27 pairs. Just something that caught my eye. And the song is West End Girls" years ago people gave the band name but never the song name LOL
