Hey Campoholics, in this video we show you how to remove the Norcold Refrigerator doors for replacement or to put a washer on the hinge of the door so the Norcold refrigerator door flap shuts. We show you where to place a washer on the hinge pin to raise the door to engage the door flap so it completely shuts. Or if you just need to replace the doors due to what ever reason, we show you how easy it is.

I have the same Norcold 1210S. The right lower frig door hinge is plastic and is molded into the door. IT BREAKS ON LOTS OF UNITS! Mine broke, and a new door was going to cost $500 for one door. I'm fixing mine. DO NOT OVERLOAD THAT DOOR !!! You would be advised to check the hinge every year or reinforce it before it breaks. If you start hearing noises out of when you open it or it doesn't open smoothly, take it off and fix it IMMEDIATELY! I didn't and caused more damage than was necessary. My entire cooling unit on the back died. (Ammonia system) I got about ten years out of the frig before things started breaking and the unit failed completely. I bought a replacement 12-volt double-compressor unit from JC Refrigeration for $1650 plus $75 for the needed 12-volt circuit breaker they recommend. I'm in the process of installing it now and doing a thorough cleaning of the frig/freezer boxes. I wouldn't have done this for the cost, but I already had the frig and I liked the size of it. The price of a new frig is now ridiculous. I DO NOT recommend Norcold refrigerators although I understand they are coming out with a new compressor unit. They charge WAAAAY TOO MUCH for these units and probably make half the price in profit. I only have mine because it came with my deluxe trailer.

I have the same fridge but I have slop on the right hand side door. Doesn’t seem to seal and I get condensation. Any adjustment you know of? I tried to heat up the seal and keep the door closed for 6 to 8 hours as advised by a Norco repair man and it did not work.

@@TheCampoholics my apologies, I should’ve followed up. I used your washer trick, and it worked like a charm. Took the slop out of the right side door and got the left side door from rubbing against the bottom of the fridge. That said, I even called the Norco repairman and told him about the fix which he was not aware of. THANKS AGAIN!

Hi what does that plug do? Mine was disconnected so i plugged it in. the flaps seems warm and its hot in the fridge.

Those are called door flapper heaters.
