Norfolk Ammonites Crystal Find! Stunning Rare Peronoceras fibulatum? With UV Fluorescence Demo

Good to meet you tonight, nice to see them under a fluorescent light. The first ammonite isnt a dactylioceras commune, i believe it may be a peronoceras fibulatum but arent 100% on that, its definitely one of the more uncommon ammonites ive only had a handful of them over the years, great find!

That's really interesting about the Ammonites potentially being Peronoceras fibulatum, did my research on that and they seem quite similar in appearance, but upon closer inspection the first ammonite in the vid defo has fibulation ribbing pattern, i think you may be right there, thank youu Scott, really helpful. Do you think the second Ammonite in my vid is the same fibulatum? Looked like your bag was about to break under the weight lol, so funny! I found some Ammonites that day also, some nice small ones, and a few 2p size, and one incomplete big one about as round as tennis ball, just cracked it and it full of crystals, both the pos and neg, beautiful! @@UKFMH no worries man, glad to meet someone friendly for a change, most are so territorial on our coast😆 2nd ammonite i arent sure, doesnt look like a dac from the chambers. Sounds like you had a successful day🤙 i got a few bits but nothing 'top tier' collection....unless that massive nodule contains something. Watch this space, i think i'll probably get myself a go pro in the next month or 2, youve inspired me to get a UV torch too, ive got some great worldwide ammonites which would look brilliant under it.
