If this was the FBS, at least 4 to 5 players would have been ejected for targeting. And holding penalties.......on every drive of the entire first half that was never called.

It's about time some real football was played. FBS "D" plays flag football, grabbing shoulders from 2 feet away, and rarely tackling around the knees... which explains why so many runners gain 10 extra yards in a big push because their legs are always free to churn away.

@smithn.wesson495 compared to fields now, yeah, it's definitely behind on the times. But the nostalgia of it from back in the day when guys wore huge ass pads, jerseys would get ripped, and it wasn't the tackle that hurt ya, it was the sudden stop when you hit that astro turf

Money, takes a lot to move up. Also geography, there simply isn't a good conference. Pac12 could have been an option but... well. And now Big 10 has so many god damn teams in it. And then there's stadium size, not the biggest reason but still a potential issue with it being considerably smaller than the average FBS stadium. And then the last thing, they moved up to division one with SDSU. If they go to FBS, they'd probably try and make a move with the jackrabbits again. To anyone who wants to say it's bc the Bison aren't as good as they have been, either of the montanas or NDSU or SDSU could kick Delawares *ss and they just moved up to FBS so...

It would be more exciting if the championship would be played at the better records team home or a coin toss between the two. It just looses something in Texas as far as fan support. Far too involved for most fans to attend.

Idk about that, considering how significant home field really is. But atleast moving it more North. Missouri Valley and Big Sky have an undeniable chokehold on the FCS. Designate the neutral game stadium somewhere more central to those two conferences you know
