Police standards needed to be raised long ago, higher standards, better vetting, better pay, training, background checks, supervision, accountability, more liability for bad choices and access to better mental health. Departments should also have trained mental health professionals on staff to go on certain types of police calls.

I have a friend who's an officer and he said the background check is extensive and it's very difficult to get in. There are of course psychological tests, lie detector tests, talking with people who have known the applicant. The average person would not qualify. Plenty of departments across the country are short staffed. Being short does not mean they lower standards, it just means they aren't fully staffed. Still bad officers do slip through the cracks. No system is foolproof. Punishment must be severe for cases like this.

I was deep in prayer over breaking demonic warfare in my family, friends, and environment and the same night police came to my door aggressively asking me for information and trying to get into my home saying I am hiding somewhere in there. It was a spiritual encounter in which the devil was trying to intimidate me. The cop kept shining the light in my face and in my window saying, let me in there. I also had a spiritual dream in which the holy spirit showed me masses of demons dressed as cops and riot police trying to intimidate me as well. No doubt there is a large presence of authoritative and violent demons around police officers who wish to use their power for evil, but we know who has the ultimate power Jesus Christ! What a tragic thing for this woman but there is great comfort knowing she is with our Jesus in heavenly places. God, may you protect and watch over her family in their grief.

As a woman, I do not think I will ever call the police for help ever again. It is not just the color of your skin. Some police departments and eager DA's would love nothing more than to charge a middle class woman with something she did not do. No harm for them but her life is destroyed by these alleged charges filed against her. I'd rather fight for myself, eliminate the threat, and then call law enforcement to make the report and let them do what they have to do. Plus the BS with lesser charges when the prosecution cannot pin the higher charges has not one thing to do with justice and needs to be stopped. There is no justice in that.
