North Vs. South Chico - Which is Better?

I like the north side better than the south for the reasons you mentioned but the best side is the west side.

In the beginning you said that Bidwell Part is in the middle, a dividing line between the north and the south. Then later you said that you gave the edge to the south because the south has Bidwell Park. So which is it? Great video! I enjoyed it!

I want to live on a quiet side, get an apartment first for a couple of years to check it out. What side do all the students live in? (want to stay away from those areas).

Students are on the west side. If you search Google maps you can see Chico state. Draw a one mile circle around that and odds are they’ll be a lot of students. Highest concentration is north of 8th st. West of downtown, east of Nord/walnut, and south of 4th ave. However, there are some amount students at just about every apartment complex in town. The loud ones just stick to the areas close to Chico state.

You are only talking about the expensive parts of town. There is more to Chico. Also, there is no place in Chico that far from wherever you might live.
