Hearing NL talk about Dan reminds me of a Tumblr post about the Olympics. Essentially "We should have a regular average dude and someone completely jacked out on drugs performing with the standard Olympic athletes." NL is the Olympian, MALF is the one on HGH, and Dan is just a guy.

Why does NL (And everyone else apparently?) not know that you can *STACK* sticky bombs? They chain depending on how quickly you drop them, it makes things like getting the rubies from Yama, or say; a ledge right above a shopkeeper. It makes things so much easier, I tell you. Edit: Literally not even a minute after saying this, he does it. Fuck me, right? But hey, he's improving!

Why does nl never use the gold rod thingy. I get that it's dangerous and could kill you, but you would have to really mess it up to die from using it on a single target (like the shopkeeper at the end of temple 1). Like there's no reason to use those bombs when he has that weapon

Ethan Draycott If you make the ghost pass over any gem it turns that gem into the most valuable gem of all, a diamond. The vaults are full of gems, so you kite the ghost to it and make around 90k

It's trying to get the ghost to pass through the gems stored in a Shopkeeper Vault (those encased shopkeepers), which turns them into diamonds.

When the ghost that appears once you run out of time touches any gem on the ground it will convert it into one worth much more.

it spawns you inside of the statue head, so you couldnt reach the gun- I am also sure that if you bomb the head open it doesnt work, or you cant destroy the hesd in the first place. I have seen a sick trick before maybe involving and alien spaceship, but thats to next level for now.

Zane Addington it’s what he did on the last ice cave level. The ghost that shows up when you’ve spent too much time on the level turns gems into diamonds when it passes over them, so you can lead it around and get extra diamonds for a higher score.

most of my spelunky experience is threough watching nl play it on the nlss. However, it seems like hes playing way too cautiously compared to the past. I get that he might be rusty and forgetful of spelunky rules but i know he could be doing much better just based on how he used to play! idk if hes gotten into more of a character over the last few months but thats what it feels like to me. I still love his videos but its a bit odd to me
