Love your videos! keep it up! I'm a 15 year old avgeek aswell and when you were taxiing I saw the Sunclass A339NEO a Wizz air A321NEO and a Widerow E190E2 at the international terminal and I felt like that looked super familiar, and looked like what I saw when we flew, and the stand that we were at was empty. Then I saw the SAS E195 bound for Chopenhagen in front of you, which I was on! What a coincidence! And I'm also super curios how you got access to the flightdeck?

I fly in 2 weeks to Bergen from manchester, i absolutely love the Norwegian airline, great pilots, can you tell my why i only get evening flights? This will be my 7th flight to Norway, I'd love to see the view's on approach to bergen 🇬🇧🇧🇻
@CptMitchu Жыл бұрын
I think might be because of the slot restrictions. the airline receive Slots for the flights down to Manchester. Slot: A authorisation to either takeoff or land at a planned airport during a specified time period. They receive slots from from the ATC - Air Traffic Control (Euro Control, in Europe). That slot effect’s when the flights are flown, because the airline is not permitted to fly the route outside the specific time in the slot. Hope that helps, enjoy your stay in Bergen! PS: Bring rain jackets or umbrellas, because Bergen is known for it’s rainy conditions, but I think that you might be lucky with the weather🧐😃
@shaznw1 Жыл бұрын
@@CptMitchu oh I'm used to the rain in bergen now lol but thank-you for your reply, yes I understand now, I'm just so glad the trains will still be running by the time I land, 11-55pm 😊

hello captain good flight, I noticed something, you didn't start the apu before shut off the engine, why? 34:10
@CptMitchu Жыл бұрын
Hi, they shut down one of the engines after landing usually after two or three minutes depending on how much reverse you used. The aircraft’s electrical system can run fine on only one of the generators, so that is why they didn’t start the apu. They would if it was Corfu or somewhere else where we don’t get the gpu (ground power unit) connected as soon as we park up at the gate. Thanks for you question!
