I enjoy your channel and hearing your thoughts. Fragrance is SO subjective, and each one alters quite a bit if worn on skin vs on clothing. Choosing to call your posts and opinions other things makes sense to me. I'll watch no matter what. ❤

This makes perfect sense to me. As a former art professor, I know there is no great truth to art - the fun is all in its ineffability, its lack of fixed "truth" (though i have opinions). So you not being a reviewer means, to me, that you don't wish to be an authority on fragrance. Fragrance is even more ineffable than visual art - you can't even see it - its a ghost, a cloud, an experience! Anyway best wishes.

Thank You for taking us along on a Walk and Talk! Your desire to inspire others is more important than any algorithm. Also, I do believe I heard the birds cheering You on in place of Your closing music. 🤗

Dear Pep, I thought this video was wonderful, because you took us along in two ways. Firstly, on a lovely walk and secondly, on what is going on inside you. What your thoughts are. And I can totally understand what you said and agree with it! I can only say one thing: I look forward to more "experiences" with you!😊

You provide an impression versus the typical review, which for me feels more like a sales pitch. Interestingly, because you’re more thoughtful about your experience with a perfume, I find myself more intrigued. The fact that you took the time to explain yourself shows exactly why your efforts are appreciated. It is your approach that is appealing.

Wonderful video, and great thought process! Vocabulary is so important, and even more so when exercised accurately. I very much appreciate this, and hope this message reaches the neverending so called (or self-attributed) “reviewers” of the art of perfumery… some of which can’t even pronounce the claimed notes for the perfumes they’re referencing (and probably don’t even have an idea of what they’re actually smelling).

Yes, I don't really like the word "review," either.

Nice video, Pep. Would be nice to do a little Melbourne tour with your favorite places and the scents you wear when going there. Seeing a video in T-Shirt from our rainy, grey Germany makes me so jealous : ). PS Is this the mic from the phone?

This short video made me sad. :-( There's nothing wrong with calling perfume impressions - reviews. I don't see a problem with finding that our tastes sometimes clash - it's inevitable, there are no 2 people in the world with the same perception and taste. I always like to hear an alternative opinion, even if it's different from my own. And if I buy something after your review (perfume impressions) all risks and responsibilities are on me, not you. If I happen not to like it, it's my mistake ,not yours, and I will learn from it. Shame you feel that way, and I wish I could send you some reassurance and cheering-ups 🦊
