All three books in the Not Dead Yet Trilogy are now available on ibooks, That I may die roaming, Not Dead Yet, and Ruta 40.
The music in this clip is by Helen Jane Long (Way up high and Fifths) and Philip Guyler (Walk of Shame) - these songs are available on audio network USA, also by Kevin Macleod (Luminous Rain) which is available on incomptech dot com

Having followed your RR on ADV, and read your books, I fought the wanderlust they created in me. I finally got that under control and here you come back again with even better videos of the trip. You're an evil man, Oisin, causing somewhat normal people to want to drop what they are doing and hit the road. Keep it up.

Oh - and to Rob Kelly's comment - he's spot on. I cannot imagine pulling out the camera as you did at the depths of the darkness. As a rider - its only the lowest lows that will bring you to thehighest highs! Rock On.

I haven't taken a motorcycle through Mongolia or Eastern Russia - but I get the sense that your videos accurately capture what the reality must be like. It's not glamorous. It's not comfortable. It's not easy. However, it is one hell of an adventure! I give you great credit for pulling out the camera and shooting footage when you must have been so tired, so fed up, so "not-in-the-mood" to shoot footage. I am hanging on every episode of your series. Completely hooked! Thank you Oisin!

Been glued to youtube waiting for every post. Better and more personal than the vids that inspired your trip while still having the feel of a professional production. Will be awaiting the balance with heaps of appreciation. Cheers, Sean

Oisin, I started watching your vids from Moscow to Vladivostok about 4 or 5 months ago, watching every one at least 3 times. I just checked back and found your new videos, watching all 19 today. It's an extraordinary journey, and I'll be watching for upcoming vids. I am stunned that you are doing all the work yourself. Thank you for taking us all on such an amazing trip. Take care, my friend. Hutch

Must have felt great to finally be back on the road on the bike looking at Montana (it does look like MT. maybe west of Lewistown heading towards Glacier) free and wandering again. A riding buddy from Cork turned me on to this series and I'm glad he did.

Great series. Came across your videos while searching for Tim Cope's journey across the steppe. He did it on a horse instead of a bike though, you might find the series interesting if you haven't already seen it. Its called "The trail of Genghis Khan". Thanks for ur uploads.

Totally surprised about the lack of a spare rear shock for you on arguably the world's most well-known ADV bike. What is BMW thinking? Great job by HyperPro for filling the gap with what looks like a fabulous replacement shock. You have some fine friends getting you out of a pickle.

for sure - there is an old saying - when something bad happens - who is the first person you call - that is probably your best friend!... BMW have since upgraded the shocks on the later GS models thankfully

Have you since gotten a different bike? Just seemed like a hassle to replace a part that was so hard to get.
