All three books in the Not Dead Yet Trilogy are now available on ibooks, That I may die roaming, Not Dead Yet and Ruta 40. The music in the video is "Way up high" by Helen Jane Long; "Lilly Lane" by Philip Guyler and "Big fun" by Tim Reilly and James Scholes - all of which are available on Audio Network and finally "Luminous Rain" by Kevin Macleod.

A very touching episode, Oisin. One could sense your frustration, depression and uncertainty. At the same time, you recognized what these people deal with for daily survival and that they, while having almost nothing, lent you a hand without expecting anything in return. Thanks for being such a humble, yet colorful, representative of the western world.

Oisin, thanks for sharing. This episode struck a chord with me. Your observations are very poignant on how western society compares to others in the world. Truly amazing people in Mongolia. This video put a lump in my throat. I am glad that it all worked out for you and that you didn’t give up. You are a true ambassador on how we should behave and interact with others. I have read your books. Amazing stories. You are truly a pioneer and your travels are the envy of my dreams. Thanks. -GrizzLee (BTW: I want DVDs of the series to re-visit and live vicariously through your travels. I will never get to do half this much adventure in my life)

It took until episode 31 to hear Oisin say "But i wasn't dead". Now we're starting to get somewhere. It's all in the power of the mind. Strong mind strong body. Being at one with yourself is just the best.

Just watched this episode for 3rd time. Your videos have a huge human element that really sticks. Who wants to see hours of footage, with no commentary, of motorways......yet those videos get loads of 'views'? You open yourself up, vulnerable and that's what makes the story......personality/people/human kindness. Fk me!!!! I've just seen the spider in the next one!!! Hope one day you'll get away again fella. Take care x

Another amazing vid. Thx again. I've traveled to some extremely poor areas in Asia. As an American who grew up in "relative" comfort and opulence, I understand your feeling of difference between the West and developing countries. The feeling is like you can see the technological chasm between your country and theirs, and moreover you can see how long that country will take to develop its infrastructure--it's actually painful to do that calculation. Out there, I felt the need to help or assist in any manner. For example, I overpaid for items at local stores--on purpose and over tipped at meals when their culture dictated that I shouldn't even tip, and assisted out in the fields. I did all this w/humility and an open mind. Never once did I want my hosts to feel that somehow I felt superior towards them. To be honest, I'm just a single generation away from peasantry. Just wanted to ramble on...

With that constant wind, w wind powered generator made from an old motorcycle stator, and regulator/ rectifier might be a good thing for them to put into play. They could generate as much electricity as they wanted from that serious wind.

Thanks so much for posting these on KZbin and for taking the time to put them together, I enjoyed listening to your commentary just as much as the visuals. Magadan is on my bucket list once the kids are older. Would love to see you present at a HUBB meeting one day. Do you have this available as a DVD/Bluray?
