Build a Bird designed plane ..... Just scallop the wings and tips differently and change to a V-tail ! .... Become One with Mother Nature ..... Use the Force , Adam !

Yes, and love to see you do some basic fpv on the planes also. Lot of new folks and I'm sure they would dig seeing how simple they can fpv a plane or lil wing :)

I love that centering gizmo you made! Very clever, it could be made from foamboard scraps during the build. I'm stealing it!

Fun high speed build ! ..... I would Try and Fly it by just throwing it like a paper airplane first ..... if that works , then apply power .... you might save some propellers and repairs .... and for $14 bucks add a Stabilizer or cheap Flight controller ......

I scratch built the FT mini mustang using their print out plans and my own gear. I've had problems with it rolling one way and/or diving or looping then crashing into the ground after takeoff. Any tips or suggestions?

Can make a V shape ---v---- bend in link rods to shorten them
@RCwithAdam14 жыл бұрын
That would be a good idea (and it is usually good to add some "spring" in the control rods to relieve strees on the servos), but if the servos move aft any more, extra nose weight would be needed.

Hey I don't know if you will see this comment but how much do you think this mini scout weighs as you had it in the backyard area, I am trying to get an idea for the size space that I can fly mine in based off of yours, mine has a flying weight of 240g

Adam bro i think ripping the foamboard is better than just to put all the force on the motor and destroy it.well thats just a suggestion
@RCwithAdam14 жыл бұрын
I agree! Better to destroy the foam than the motor! But I like to motor the motor so that it can freely slide backward in a crash (like on my BAT airplane).

I'm having issues with the gimbal(s) signaling input while centered. Probably needs to be cleaned out.

Can I use a 1806 3100kv motor?
@RCwithAdam14 жыл бұрын
Sure! But you might want to use a prop smaller than the 5" I used.

Yay, an airplane video! I just made my newest twin motor airplane: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bZaWXquleZyKmKM For the control rod alignment issue, just unscrew the servo arm and rotate it.
