The plaintiff hired and paid the defendant to re-tile her apartment floor and kitchen walls. The defendant told the plaintiff he would complete the job in a week, but the job still isn’t done after two months, and the plaintiff’s apartment is a mess, so she is suing. The defendant claims the plaintiff added more tasks to the job and that’s why it isn’t completed yet. Additionally, the defendant alleges that the plaintiff sent him sexually explicit videos, and after he rebuffed her, the defendant believes the plaintiff is retaliating with this lawsuit.

This is a baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad look on JM. She should have stopped the defendant the second he mentioned SA. There was a case a few months back where a sister self-disclosed that her brother had assaulted her and JM literally stopped everything, asked the sister if she even wanted it to air, and then comforted her. Meanwhile, she lets this man say a lot and they literally cut to her almost smirking at him as he talks. And *then*, to make matters worse, she doesn't even acknowledge the plaintiff's shock and obvious distress and instead asks if she really has that tattoo and when the plaintiff says yes, JM's attitude towards her immediately changes. I've never seen her basically turn her back on a plaintiff in disgust like she did in this case. The tone with which she said, "you go to the beginning of it", with her arms crossed and head turned away like that, was shocking. She almost gets off on reading people's texts out loud and always demands to see texts in the phone so she can snoop but when the plaintiff pleads with her to do it, all of a sudden she acts like the phone is too gross for her to even touch. That whole exchange should have been edited out. I've disagreed with her rulings a few times but I've never been genuinely disgusted and appalled by her like this. JM and the production team should be ashamed of themselves. Zero excuse.

I noticed the change in demeanor too. Normally she will accept things as receipt like what the plaintiff showed. But now she's acting like she's a liar. The witness came up a d said the man never paid him, and he ended up finishing her stuff. They have a verbal agreement, even without the written contract, that he would be done in 2 weeks. And 2 months on she's claiming she can't get lost wages. That's the exact type of case where you WOULD get them. But she refused her, and I 100% believe it's because he said such vile things about the plaintiff.

The plaintiff clearly says she’s known him for a long time, So he may very well know stuff about her. She also said he was flirting with her and not the other way around. There may be some truth to what he said regarding what happened to her, but that doesn’t make it true regarding her coming onto him.
