I want to let you guys know something. I’m 64 years old and you taught this old guy something. Going back to your camper build, I never knew there was such a thing as I Fix It. And because of this of going to order a battery replacement kit for an older iPad Air 2 for my youngest granddaughter when she comes to stay. I found the kit and it has the battery, replacement sealant and the needed tools for only 55 bucks. Very reasonable. So thank you to you and Molly. Did they give you a discount code? Being on fixed income, we have to save every way possible. One last thing cause I’ve talked to much. The harbor freight trailer axle might make a cool build for a yard trailer to pull behind the atv. Keep it up, you two are two very impressive people

Going from building furniture, to remodeling a home, to fixing a truck, to converting a container into a shop… and who knows how many other projects that are not just furniture… the mix is excellent! It never gets boring and just keeps the content so interesting. It’s why I keep coming back! You guys just keep doing excellent work!

Glad your dad is on the mend. That cold you both have is going around all over. Several KZbin creators I follow are suffering thru it right now. Get well soon. If you have not planned on putting a bug screen in the air gaps behind the girts at the top and bottom of the walls, you might want to. It will keep the pests from taking up residents behind your exterior walls. Thanks for the video.

Helpful hint for siding the container. Helped with something similar. You can screw in the outside during strips from the outside in two points, then go inside and do all the rest, then go back outside pull out the two anchors, and then do them from inside. Helps keep them level and reduces the need for two people.

You specifically mentioned that you are leaving the gaps between the rigid foam and the container walls or I might not even have thought of it, but is there a reason for this? It seems like having that gap and having it open at the bottom (and top maybe?) would essentially negate the insulation properties by letting cool (or hot) air flow along the steel walls behind the insulation. I guess if it was just for heat I could potentially see a benefit but for cold it seems counter-productive. I’d love to know your ideas behind this.

What did you set your container on ? cement blocks or just gravel ?

I really love that you are milling your own lumber for this! Any concerns about the wood being wet when applied?

That’ll be the beauty of it! Plus, each board will have a batten covering the seams when all said and done, so not crazy worried

At one time, I thought I heard you mention that you wanted to move the shipping container to another location? If you do, wouldn't it be better to move it before all of the modifications? Enjoying the videos.

Not moving anymore! At least not in any near future. Take everything we say with a grain of salt though🤣 We never fully make up our minds until something gets done!

Hey - just a heads up that the link to your second channel in the description isn’t working (on iOS mobile) - it would be a good idea to add the channel name to your main channel’s about section as well!
