Finally a review with the bench seat in the second row. I dont understand why all the top trims of mid size 3 rows have bucket seats. ANyone know if you can option up for the second row bench on the RS or Z71?

Well to help you make a decision for the 2025 model traverse they will no longer offer the Ls trim level and piece increases 4K so grab a 2024 model traverse ls midnight edition while you can not many left out there in the public

The price is right where it should be. The base model is a base model. Most car companies really dumb down their base models just like Chevy did with the previous version. It’s actually a saving for them to make cars with more standard features. Let’s variation to work with. It’s a great size SUV

Well done comprehensive review. That Traverse offers a ton of features for the money. The only feature I would like to add is a walk through second row. I imagine second row captain's chairs require a step up to the LT trim level. Additionally I had a question regarding 2023 Camaro production numbers (also appreciate the vid you did on 2023 production numbers by trim level a while back), is there any resource/data out there to get a breakdown of how many cars were produced in the various trim levels by color?

Not after 2020, but we can work on our informant and see if he can carve out some time to work with us. And yes if you want the fancy seating you have to upgrade trim levels. You are correct. 💋🦇

I still have some reservations on a 2.5L for the size of this SUV. The auto industry thinks buy slapping a turbo engine in a smaller block is the way to go. Then again, if you want a V8 with the same cargo space, spend $40k more on a Tahoe.

Few differences in the LT, so there are 6 color choices instead of 4 on the LS, you have 3 different wheel options instead of 2, you get roof racks on the LT not on the LS, 7 passenger seating is standard on LT with 8 passenger available but on LS only 8 passenger seating. LT can opt for the Evotec seating while LS is cloth only. LT can add the enhanced convenience package and option for a sunroof while LS can not. Just to name a few differences. will be doing a video of an LT soon.

It is for low if you tap this it will light up the l in the shift pattern in red the d will light up white. You will now be using the tap shifters left to reduce gears and right to increase see page 191 of your manual. 💋🦇

Just went to see all 3 trims. Went with LS. The other 2 models are not much different other than leather seats. Captains chair in 2nd row and electric front driver seat.

I believe you are reviewing the LT edition. Because only the LT gives you three color interior options when you choose the midnight edition.. right

This is the LS trim level that I reviewed, which only has one interior jet black cloth, the LT trim has 3 interior packages and the evotec is an extra $1000 to the price tag! 7 passenger is standard on LT but you can opt for the 8 passenger on LT if you wish, 8 is standard and only one available on LS Trim!

Yes indeed you can get the midnight edition on LS and LT trims in bother FWD and AWD, the LS AWD Midnight would be around $42k

Turbo engines The majority of the driving public do not know enough about engines, turbos, cubic inches, torque and horsepower to care. Just like and air compressor, the higher the pressure you run it the shorter the life of the pump, a car engine is a pump. Turbo's pressurize the engine to falsely make it put out more power. The 4 cylinders lose power as they get more miles on them, there is no substitute for cubic inches, horsepower and torque. I have built engines and turb's boost the pressure into the small engines creating more power at the expense of the life of the engine. Your maintenance cost will exponentially increase with a turbo when it fails. Any economy you may have gotten from the turbo will be totally lost on the replacement cost of the turbo. This vehicle is way too large/heavy for a 4 cylinder. A long list of gadgets will not negate the lack of power from a 4 cylinder, not to mention the turbo lag when you need all the power from the small 4 cylinder.
