People don’t really think much about the brand’s lineup when reviewing cars anymore. You may not be 6’2 but how much do you weigh? How wide are your thighs, hips and shoulders? The Traverse may not fit 3 full-size adults in the third row, but this also isn’t the price of a Chevy Tahoe. Three average sized teenagers or smaller children would be absolutely fine in the third row of this Chevrolet Traverse which is what I believe is the intended purpose here.

I also completely disagree with your assessment on the shifter, build quality, and engine. The shifter certainly doesn’t feel cheap, and you’re making it seem more complicated than it actually is. That’s something I see regularly with reviewers in this age group. “Reinventing” functions is the manufacturers job especially if their goal is to make the lives of customers better. Too many biased reviewers are hopping into *gm* products and want to point out whatever isn’t made of gold so they can tell you how “cheap it feels”. I’m getting sick of this *gm* bias nonsense on KZbin if I’m being completely honest.

Not sure how a shifter located on the column makes life better when a simple gated shifted would have sufficed. Not trying to bash GM but not everything they do is roses and loipops!

@@thejmcGarage it’s a intuitive and easy to use method similar to the gear selectors in older *gm* products from the past which frees up space in the center console for storage and other things. Tired of reviewers holding onto plastic and claiming it’s “cheap feeling” whenever they can’t actually find something reasonable to complain about in an affordable vehicle.

@@G-Ratedcompletely agree. When you’re going for practicality and opening up space to put “things,” a column shifter makes complete sense. No one complains about column mounted shifters on big pickups, what’s the difference here?

The one thing i dont understand is why the ls doesn't have an option for power seats. It comes with heated seats and a steering wheel, it ought to cone with a optional power seats.

Why do reviewers keep scooting the 2nd row all the way back and wonder why they have no leg room in the 3rd row? It’s a midsize vehicle, not an expedition.

That side window is ugly as shit and very GMC Terrain-ish. Give this vehicle some decent side windows.

This is people trying to look for faults and things that are wrong with the new Traverse. The side profile of new Chevy’s is “so ugly” that others are copying it. Look at the Kia Sorento. They’ll love it there and when the rest start to be more creative with their side profiles, ppl like this actually just hate that *gm* was the first to do it. 😂
