I chose noteful because of the layers (easy editing and even studying methods like active recall or quizzing works) and gdrive option. but I really wished it had the zoom option for writing and an easier text box placement+editing (like in goodnotes) so that it would be easier to switch from writing to typing and vice versa

How do you use layers method for active recall. Can you tell in detail

@@harbonator36446 This might be 5 months later, but use the first layer (Layer 1) as the questions, or the notes, and then the second layer (Layer 2) as the answers. then, go back to the first layer where you put down the questions (or if you already had the notes written down), then hide the second layer (Layer 2) and it should have an eye icon to see, and hide that icon, then afterwards, write down the answers using a third layer (Layer 3) or Layer 1 (if free version?) and then when you're done writing down the answers, then go back to the second layer (Layer 2) and unhide the answers (uncover the eye icon, it would be a grey and then click it again and it's black), and there you have it. After you did all that, compare what your answers to the actual answers.

I can't delete the color circles on the toolbar. It's frustrating to me. I only need a few of them, but I made too many by mistake.

A year late, but you can delete them. Click on the color, go to the favorites tab, and click the three dots

I study med and there is a lot of information for each idea, so I want to make one outline and list the related bags under it - and do another outline like this

Hi, 5 months but in case u’re still wondering: 1. Creating outline - Ex: I want to outline heading called “heading 1” in page 5, i go to page 5 then create a new outline naming it heading 1. This will automatically make that outline link to that page. 2. Create nested outline - Ex: I created a new outline called “subheading 1” in the same page 5. Then i drag that subheading 1 on top of the “heading 1”, so it becomes nested in there. Sorry for the lengthy explanation and if it’s confusing 😅, but hopefully it helps!
