I got to go to the concert in Wisconsin, such an amazing show. Was about 20 rows back center stage. There was a light rain falling which hit the laser lights and the whole sky sparkled. Pink Floyd has been my favorite band since I was a kid. Such emotional music.

Right as the second (longer) solo started, you said "can you imagine being there? I was at the 1994 Pulse show in Washington DC RFK Stadium and I will tell you, YES it was as amazing and magical and life altering just as you may imagine it was. I love watching people see/hear this for the first time and watching their faces. It's like watching someone become reborn!

That guitar solo! Speaks to me in a way words can't. Pink Floyd are deeper than the Mariana trench, smoother than a quantum stabilized atom mirror, cooler than an iceberg in a river of liquid nitrogen and more zen than 1,000 Buddhist monasteries. Thanks for the reaction bro!

Pink Floyd was not ahead of their time. They created their own time and space. Pink Floyd helped my spirit and soul develop as a young girl in the 70s. I feel like they are a part of me and I know my life would be different if they weren’t with me on my journey. When it’s my time to leave I take solace knowing they will be with me.

Everyone sees further by standing on the shoulders who went before. Roger Waters felt the same when he heard Sgt Peppers for the first time. Without Sgt Peppers we would never have got Dark Side of the Moon. But why did artists give up climbing the heights in favour of lesser things? Punk was at its height when the Wall came out.

David Gilmore knows why he is here . He’s pursued that destiny everyday of his life . Many of us learned how to play an instrument but to be blessed with the creative mind required to put together such masterpieces is otherworldly . Maybe he can’t see it , being on the inside looking out , but to the rest of us , this is the eighth wonder of the world . I never had the privilege of seeing them in concert . Now that brief moment is gone . I don’t miss many concerts anymore .

You're right - I truly believe that Pink Floyd will still be listened to a hundred years from now. Not routinely for most, but they will be studied in music classes and held up as the premier example of prog rock, and the amazingly creative period of music that was the 60's - 80's, and there will still be those who light one up while drifting away on some PF. People still listen to Mozart - PF is my Mozart.

One of the Greatest Rock Performances ever, possibly the GOAT Rock guitar solo too! Certainly, with all the lasers, incredible light show, phenomenal musicianship and the level of production here, and everything else is off the charts! It sounds Sooo good and it's 1994, no Autotune or computers or any crutch of any kind, they did it all right in front of you! Just a note: There are only 3 actual members of Pink Floyd here onstage, in fact there were only 3 members of PF from 1985, (when Roger Waters quit the band) up until 2008 when Rick Wright died from Cancer. It's easy to tell which ones they are, they're the 3 old guys, lol,... David Gilmour, (guitar), Rick Wright, (keyboards, and Nick Mason, (drums). The other musicians onstage are Pink Floyds' touring band for that time or that tour'. Pink Floyd was formed in London in 1964, so this Pulse Concert is 30 years later, so PF guys are all in their late 40s and early 50s. Check out "Sorrow" from the same 1994 Pulse Concert, another great guitar solo from David Gilmour. There are so many from that Pulse Concert on KZbin and they're all unbelievably great, like "High Hopes", "Money", "Learning to Fly", and many more.

I was there :) The real highlight was the encore: They played the entire Dark Side Of The Moon with all the original screen footage in the 2nd half (special note goes to One of these days with double pigs and the plane crashing into the tower earlier in the concert) I might also mention, for 2 days before the concerts (they sold out 4 nights there) there were 'warnings' of UFO's flying over London on Radio 1 (kudos to Simon Mayo) , and one the first night part of the seating scaffold collapsed on one side of the arena: David Gilmour personally went to the hospital to visit every fan who was injured.

FYI: this song comes from "The Wall" album. Recommend Roger Waters award winning ;"The Wall' Concert. Just watch the intro song Roger Waters " in the flesh" ( live) )from Roger Waters"the wall") ( digital video) WARNING: !!!!!!!! after seeing this you will want to see the whole concert. only 5 minute intro. this will have the original song being played 60 ft. on top of the wall.

You got a new sub!!!! Thanks for sharing my favorite band of all time. You asked at the 7:14 mark, can you imagine being there? Yup, saw the Pulse Tour in Philadelphia in 1993. Phreakin' Phabulous. No comparison, best event ever. Comfortably Numb left you drained. So much energy.

I was there..well not there but at the Feyenoord Stadium Rotterdam (during their tour). Imagine yourself being there, with the glitter ball in the middle of the pitch illuminating the whole stadium. And....with quadrophonic sound. What a joy to witness. A fantastic experience. (Seen Pink Floyd multiple times and after that David Gilmour solo). There are some great cover bands, check them for perhaps some gigs over at your place.

The big disco ball is highly symbolic. First of all, it wasn't seen until the lights spotted it. It was simply not there! Hidden in a box in the ceilling. So when it got lit, you can understand why the audience went wild. And then, when it opened up and showed the shining diamond that's inside, a direct reference to "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" (which refer to Syd Barrett), the fans understood! Genius!

I wish I could be hearing this for the first time. Instead I've been lucky enough to listen to them my whole life. Absolutely no one like Pink Floyd! Also no one like Led Zeppelin! Or Steely Dan! Or Yes!!

Numb doesn't even close the show. You wouldn't think anything could top that, but then they launch into Run Like Hell and it's every bit the equal to Numb.

Most generations think grandads music is outdated and boring. And when exposed they ask why isn’t music like this any more? What happened and why?

Pink Floyd is an experience you have to see to believe! Unfortunately all you can see is videos. David Gilmore is the closest you can see live. Roger Waters isn't close.

Yeah bro I can imagine being there 'cos I was! On the very night this was filmed. I was 18 and me and my buddy got high in London all day, then saw this spectacle. It was mind blowing when that ball descended from the ceiling - hard to see the how big it is on video but that thing was the size of a house! Not sure how this could ever be topped really.
