We can't always agree on opinions because we all have different experiences in life. My experiences is never "the way it is" in Thailand, but just how it happened for us. Koh Chang is my favourite island in Thailand. Not too touristy or trashy and not crowded. I like staying around White Sand Beach because lots of restaurants and the night market sells nice food and pancakes.

I was there a few weeks ago , love Koh Chang , will be back next year and ya when you get south of the White sands area the roads are crazy,l more like a roller coaster than a road lol, cheers

Hi, nice video, make me wish I was back there. We stayed at PADDY PALMS RESORT, nice rooms & great pool at the back. They have a large restaurant & bar, but there are restaurants every where. Really like Koh Chang

Great series on the islands. Keep up the great work. Try Kai Dow Mai Sook, Fried not hard. Seems to work for me when I order eggs in Thailand. I do not think Sunnyside or Over Easy translates wells.

Dream place and dream sea. Yes get that drone, do get regulated all the same as you are "advertising" your blog and it takes a bit of time but you will be covered. I have travelled with my drone to the UK, Austria and the US, don't break the rules fly within the heights required by law (mostly 120 meters) and have great clips for friends and family. I keep my clips short - max at a minute to add into my slideshows or you into the video itself. Cheers and enjoy! You and Paige are a great partnership of explaining Thailand to us farangs! Enjoy!

Pity this trip’s coming to an end....looks fantastic there and really pleased you got your long awaited fishing trip in! As for drones, I also follow ‘Kevin in Paradise’ and he had no issues, bought a drone at a DJI store, they gave him a brief training session, then organised the license, which came through a few weeks later and though still a ‘novice’ is now getting some great views.

Koh Chang is my favourite place in Thailand. Not too many tourists but everything is available. I always stay around white sands beach for the restaurants and the night market.

Always nice to know where a good burger is, in Thailand. I stumbled upon one on Koh Phangan last November at the Flip Flop Pharmacy Bar. Northeast part of the island. And then there is the Cubhouse Sports Bar & Grill, in Bangkok. It’s a western joint though, so it’ll be western prices, almost.

Hey Chuck Agree on the comments about drones and especially in Thailand. We are just in Thailand on holiday and will miss you guys as we are in Nong Khai and heading to your home town and was going to reach out to you and Page. Anyway next time as we are here every 6 months. One last thing, with DJI drones they actually support the country of where you are with regulations on where in the area you can fly your drone. I took mine to Koh Mook in which we got some amazing photos. Anyway mate keep up the great videos, look forward to meeting you both soon. Michael & Suwanna

I have to vote no on the ice in the beer. I noticed Klaus refrains from putting ice in His beer. Good for Him 555 For me it just boils down to having watered down beer or letting my beer warm up a little but still keep the beer flavor. Anyway it looks like you and Paige are having an awesome get away. Have a great time and have a beer for me (ice at your discretion)

Thanks you know what they say "up to you". some people don't mind warm beer, i would just say not for me. If it comes in the small bottle we don't use Ice, but i prefer not to chug a quart.

you look humble after your first bite of burger. Maybe regretting saying something about the food earlier? The farang who was talking about happy endings an so on is one of many farangs with low education i think. Over 40 times in Thailand now and it strikes me everytime, farang on a bar that is world champions. No education, knows all there is to know. I stopped even drinking beer with farangs in tourist places because of that. Enjoy staying with Thais. Have fun , dont let them irritate you too :)

Those guys in Hawaii are flying drones all over. Yeah it’s the USA. I think your not bothering anyone on a beach In Thailand. Buy that compact cheap drone and just do some beach area. Looks nice. I am actually thinking of a vacation to Koh Chang Next year. Not sure where to stay. Can you recommend an area. Saw some videos from lonely beach. It looked very nice. By the way I try to stay away form the european food. A good steek cost 4-5 times more then some thai disk. But I have only been in tourist areas to I probably dont know what real thai food is :-)

I think i went to that restaurant...It had small rooms for rent.. I think i went on that beach.. Had a swim and collected a lot of plastic fishing wire...Made a wristband out of the mess!
