The fear of Tamiyo ultimate at around 40:00 is slightly mitigated by showing Hullbreacher earlier off a Counterbalance trigger. Opponent had to seriously consider that you have one

In rd 2 I think they didn't ult tamiyo because it would both kill her and you had revealed hullbreacher earlier (even thought you shuffled after) and had mana up to cast it.

11:50 Didn't matter, but missed the line of chump blocking with Thrull, then attacking with Dreadnaught. They are out of cards, and you can Plow curator in response to it's activation. Seemed like there was a bit of getting too lost in the sauce there with the Tamiyo :)

It was designed for modern and is a reasonable card in modern where it isn't supported by force of will, daze, brainstorm, wasteland and other cards that are only legal in legacy because they're considered pillars of the format.

⁠​⁠@@SunriseBanana yes but thrull and dreadnought work well with pre-war formalwear. You could play the thrull have be removed by fatal push without exile. Then play mystic, get the formalwear and get back the thrull. You could do the same if dreadnought is put in the graveyard and you have a way to negate its trigger.

Can you explain: When you check for colored sources after the 2nd hand without one you go "15 colored sources, 1 in 4 cards. Opening hand should have a colored source, this is within responsible range". Obviously a hand with no colored source is not keepable in the deck. 15 out of 60 with 7 cards for the opener means 12% of the hands have no colored mana. So roughly 1 in 9 openers will be a mulligan due to no colored source. This feels like a lot to me giving up every ninth hand by default in addition to other reasons for a hand not being keepable. Why is this still good enough? because the hands of the deck are so consistent otherwise that you can afford a 12% "mulligan rate" solely due to no colored mana? Maybe i have missed one but i dont think you shipped a single opener for a reason other than having no colored mana. And from among the keeps, the only 2 real bad ones were bad because you missed your second colored source. On the surface the access to colored mana seems to be the biggest structural issue right now, but i have no idea wether thats just the risk you are supposed to keep because running more colored sources would be worse.
