You did not pronounce any name correctly!!! Jelena, Srdjan, Dijana, Ristić, Marija, Nikola Pilić, Beograd, Djoković, Sveti Stefan... In serbian J=Y, J always pronouce Y in english, C it never is K, surname is always pronounced "tc" or "ch". Spelling is completely different in Serbian. In English always read Yelena, Srdyan, Diyana, Ristich, Mariya, Nikola Pilich, Dyokovich...

In addition,I couldn't help noticing what lovely southern accent the narrator has, I enjoyed it so much, I listened to the video one more time 😀

Wow! I never met anyone who speaks 17 different languages as his wife does. I know people who can speak 7 and 10 languages, but 17 is a record. His wife must be very smart to be able to speak 17 languages. What are the languages that she speaks? I love them as a couple.

She does not speak as many languages. She probably lists speaking Serbian, Croatian, Montenegrin, Bosnian, Macedonian, Bulgarian and Slovenian as 7 separate languages, but in reality they are linguistically very similar, and most people who speak either of these languages as their mother tongue speak all the others. If I said I spoke all of these languages (which I don't, as all Balkan people would ridicule that statement) that would amount to me speaking 10 - 12 languages, as I also speak English, Spanish, Norwegian and German (also understand Swedish, Danish). Saying one speaks a language while, in reality, one is able to recreate and translate what is being said due to a similarity with another language is what is at play here, but not fluent and confident command of a language. I heard Novak's German and it is pretty basic, so, no - saying a couple of phrases in a language does not equal to speaking it. 😊 And I say this as one of his biggest fans. 🎉

When you pronounce Novak's last name correctly then why mutilate every other Serbian surname with the pronunciation of K(C) at the end. If Đokovi(Ć) with Ć or (C) at the end then Risti(Ć) it is olso, and it's not Risti(K) as you say. In the Serbian language, C is not K as you say in US, it is only C and it means nothing else. They are similar letters in appearance such as Ć which almost always goes at the end of the surname, and it didn't K!!! My last name is Jović or Jovic and I'm not Jovi(K). There are also other Serbian surnames, such a Nikola Tesla and not all of the them end with Ć!!!
