I was thinking the same that will NOT protect you unfortunately I've been battling skin cancer and the last 2 weeks have had mohs resulting in 19 stitches on my cheek and an incision resulting in 30 on my back. I just think giving false info to people can harm them especially young people who don't research themselves or ask a dermatologist. PLEASE wear SUNSCREEN no matter what your makeup spf is I'm 29 and its not fun to get skin cancer

@@sophiacarrion7924 yeah dude, it’s like 1/4tsp of product per body part (which doesn’t sound like that much until you measure it out) 😳 I can’t remember who it was (maybe Hyram or James Welsh...?) but they pumped the foundation into the 1/4tsp measuring spoon and it was like 11 pumps of foundation.

The idea was that most people would use 1-2 pumps of foundation for their whole face and think that it having spf in it meant they didn’t need sunscreen underneath when in reality they would need (I’m sure it was 11) pumps of it to actually get the advertised spf on their face. I can’t find it for the life of me but there’s a Wayne Goss video where he measures out 1/4tsp of sunscreen to illustrate how much people should be using.

Oh Kathleen! I relate to you on so many levels! I totally understand all of this as someone who’s dealt with anxiety and depression her whole life. Especially the driving thing, I didn’t get my license until I was 27. I didn’t lose my virginity until I was 31, first kiss at 21. And it’s only been because of medication that I now take that changes everything for me. I still deal with a lot on a daily basis but hearing you makes me feel not alone. I’ve been following you for 8 years now and know your struggle. I’ve been wanting to start my own channel but am so scared of any mean comments I might get. But being a freelance makeup artist in this current climate is not easy. Keep on sharing and doing what you’re doing, you inspire me to want to start my own channel.
