They are both very nice, I like the styling of S2000, still love the NSX for it's link to the late Ayrton Senna who helped develop the handling of it. :) It is 29 years since he passed away from that horrible weekend in Imola 1994.

@@BlackLung911 I agree. The s2000 more modern styling speaks to me a lot. It's a shame on what happened to senna. 😔

When you see the NSX not next to any cars, it looks like a long and wide car. It's interesting to see that they're really comparable in size. Makes sense looking at both their weight.

I'm an older guy and generally speaking I prefer the look of older sports cars (the less plastic involved the better). But as a roadster guy, I'm biased and have to admit that I prefer the classic proportions of the S2000 as well as the look with the top down. That said, I can totally understand how others would prefer the looks of the NSX. The reality is that not only are both of these great cars, but their respective designs have aged extremely well. Either way, I'm grateful for Shigeru Uehara and the cars that he blessed us with.

The s2000 definitely needs some love in the paint and headlights. I'll if the owner is interested in what you recommend

Choosing between apples and oranges... Both in looks, driving experience and values. Both look great. I own a 2004 AP1 S2000 (EU spec, so facelift exterior, 9K redline F20C2 engine) So I vote... NSX. Aspire to owne one of these one day as well. Alongside the S2K, coz she's a keeper 😉

First, cool video and very nice cars. It's really rough to compare them, they're just such dramatically different cars. I think the mid-engine layout is always going to be more attractive just because they're so much more rare. We see FR cars all the time, you tend to take notice of a MR car. Front: S2000: The S2000 has an almost arrowhead look to it when you're standing in front of it and I always loved that. NSX: That dramatic drop off that you guys pointed out really gives you great sight out the front of the car and is great. It seemed like you said the NSX was better just because it was shorter and lower. But IMO, the S2000 just has more character in the front. I know this is an exterior comparison, but that long front end makes engine work so nice and easy on the S2000. Top: S2000: Soft tops basically look like trash while they're up, But at least it's fast and easy to lower. The S2000 Hard top looks better, but honestly still doesn't standout as amazing or anything. NSX: Removable hard top looks good both on and off and really isn't that hard to remove. Rear: S2000: The rear is fine. Good lines, good tail lights, but nothing really great or iconic happening there to me. NSX: The NSX tail lights have always given me the impression of devil horns and I've always felt they were iconic. Bonus round: I think a clean AP2 S2000 actually still looks fairly modern, where as the early NSX does very much so look like a 90's car. Not that it's a bad thing, it's just worth noting that for a random person, they'd look at a clean AP2 an would think it's a new car, they'd look at a clean NSX and know it was older. Notes: Where the S2000 has a famously long nose, the NSX has, to me, an almost awkwardly long rear end (after the engine). It's almost as if the "lengthy part" of the cars are swapped. The S2000 is actually 11 inches shorter, even with the longitudinally mounted engine. Out of these two examples the NSX is obviously better taken care of. If the S2000 were as clean as the NSX, it may have been a better comparison as well. My points land as follows. S2000: 2 (Front and Bonus round) NSX: 2 (Top and Rear) Opinions of a random AP2 owner who wishes he could also own an NSX.

The NSX looks huge, wide, and long. But when you actually put it side by side with another car...you begin to see that it is actually very very compact. The deception is by the design which makes it look larger than what it really is.

Both beautiful cars but BLACK is the absolute worst color you can go for bc it needs a ton of maintenance and wax to look even decent.
