In 1998, the Oppn of the day swindled the sitting Govt into making it illegal for Aust to advance fairly, by disallowing the implementation of mankinds latest innovations & technologies (nuclear), and still hasnt lived up to the 'bargain'. Its been at least 8 years since AI has been good enough to patrol & police OUR public services & Servants, looking for what should be there, but isnt (integrity & worth of public servants etc), especially QLD Govt unified software/operating system. I was asked to apply for a job in the nuclear industry - my fees would have been very expensive. I did not apply, because somebody always has to carry the can, when there is an incident. I have worked in places where I could easily have been instantly vapourised, but nuclear is not for me. Costs are not the issue - it is the legacy of intractable waste. Even if it is reused, somebody has to mess with it. This stuff does not just happen of it's own accord.

A wind turbine cannot over its life generate enough electricity to make another wind turbine. A solar panel cannot generate enough electricity to make another solar panel. Renewables cannot generate enough power and heat to smelt aluminium or steel. How are you going to build anything if you can't make these essentials? You can run a house but you cannot run a 1st world economy.
