Hi Marek 👍😊 Great video, cheers. Nice little Easter present for us all.😁👍 Favourite walking item, is a good quality, lightweight waterproof jacket. One you can scrunch up into a ball & shove in the backpack. Favourite seasonal film is 'National Lampoons Christmas Vacation'. You're 100% right about school. 5 years of misery for me too. When you're 13, 5 years seems like forever. Now I'm 50, 5 years goes in the blink of an eye ! 😁 You're so lucky to live on the Isle of Wight. We live near the centre of England. The coast is 3 hours in any direction. 🥴 Keep up with the great videos mate. 👍 Matt.

Thanks Matt. I am a big fan of the lightweight waterproof jacket too. Maybe it's more of a British essential item. Also agree about school. Loved the little upper deck bus eyed view at the start (made me a little nostalgic for my rover ticket days!). Can't say I have bad memories of Sandown High, but I was only there for 3 years so maybe it's the extra two that make it really bad... plus the school I had been at previously had ceilings that often fell down on pupils, not enough hocky sticks for a team so you had to use your feet or legs when in goal, and we had to do PE in Los Altos park as there wasn't even a playing field, and windows were nailed shut so it was awful in the summer and no heaters so it was awful in the winter... I guess Sandown High had an incredibly low bar to meet as any school had to be an improvement on that!? My seasonal movie choices are Jesus Christ Superstar (either the 2000 version, or newer arena tour with Minchin as Judas) and that classic film about an invisible rabbit- Harvey with the wonderful James Stewart.
@cdwc3 жыл бұрын
I loved the Rover ticket. I think it was £2.50 or something for a child's Rover. We ended up going to Newport and back. I just looked Rover tickets up, they are £10, but you have to pay more if you want to get on the Breezer buses (these are the topless ones). The sixth form at Sandown was OK, the three preceding years were a bit grim.

It would be nice to have some way of knowing the best spots for having a discreet wee, with tree cover and nettle rating. That way we'd no longer have to worry about inadvertently exposing ourselves to passers-by (horrific because then we are the perpetrators of public nudity possibly in sight of children), and only have to worry about the perverts that would undoubtedly accumulate (fine, because we are then the blameless victims and also possibly heroes for keeping the perverts away from aforementioned children).

Yes maybe there should be a sign on maps 'PS' although with that abbreviation piss spot could easily be confused with picnic spot.
