It’s true that his reviews are a little long, but they’re very thorough & well done. If I want to buy a firearm, the Nutnfancy review of that weapon is definitely mandatory watching for me. He doesn’t pull punches. If you don’t agree with his reasoning, he explains his opinions very well so you can decide for yourself.

I have the 7.8lbs 14.3" barrel gen 1 apc 308 and I enjoy it for shooting on the move. The flash hider that's pin and welded from B&T fits surefire and B&T suppressors. Mine runs very reliably and it's shooting 1moa with federal 150 grain power point and fusion. Mine has a 2stage curved trigger that's actually great as it's slightly heavier than a SSA-E. The break isn't quiet as candy cane like either, but it's decent. I picked it up for $2700 and I love that it takes Magpul mags. Mine came with a gen 1 stock unlike your gen2 stock shown, and it's not flimsy thankfully. Something you didn't discuss is how well fit the parts are, and how well finished they are. The metal and it's coatings are all top notch. Dual ejectors on the chrome plated bolt are some of the things I appreciate. Some of your review is accurate to mine. There is a lot of push in the recoil, and I think an AR10 is a better value. I don't think this is a bad purchase at the discounted price a lot of people are finding them for though. People always come to check it out when I'm shooting it, and while I don't buy things with that purpose it's still fun to start chatting about it. I'm keeping mine.

I was slightly obsessed with the idea of this gun a few years ago, but realized you can build an AR platform to be better in every way. You can build around the full ambi, accuracy, lightweight, suppressed use, or cool factor or possibly all of the above if your wallet is as deep as this rifle costs.

We’ve got both the 14.5+pin & weld with SurFire mount parked on it. -- and the 20” DMR fluted both with side folding stock and folding buis,,,, they lend well to being a suppressor host. I should’ve sent you with the 14.5” p&W All of them come with an excellent elffman trigger (costs about $300 alone) don’t forget they run inexpensive PMags 10’ ,20’s , 25rd mags and p50 drums. Ar-10’s (aero M5, PA-10, DPMS LR-308, (and all the fly by night mfg’s) …..generally : end users who are building, buying complete guns …. Are plagued by a myriad of problems ///// feel doopped! And suppression a DI …. Will be a journey of playing musical chairs with various parts to get it tuned to work (most of the time.) Nonetheless,,, I’d take one today over a scar17 or a DSA FN-FAL, certainly over a M1A or a PTR91 DMR. Those usually function well but are damn heavy Totally

Maybe some like your opinions and the way you present them but not me. Present your opinions without emotions and just facts. Spending lots of money on a rifle that you deem crap and then called a moron is just awesome. I won’t be clicking on another one of your videos even if it’s what I want to see or hear. I in Canada spent $6000 and it’s best gun I have and I have a few lol. 15000 rounds and only issue I had was the first 5 rounds through it. All 5 failure to feed. Oil and cleaned it and made sure nothing I was doing and checked the mag and couldn’t find anything and after that first mag not one bad round and no one I know who owns one feels the way you do. Good luck going forward and thanks for all the work you have done in the past.

I have been a subscriber since 2008…. I believe that you are one of the most honest reviewers on KZbin… That being said there are a couple of things: 1) You always tend to pan expensive weapons… Most of the time you do get what you pay for… I own a Knights Armament SR-15… I paid $1700 for it 15 years ago… It was a very expensive firearm back then. It still is if you can even find one… You totally panned this firearm… I have over 2000 rounds through it… It shoots sub moa every time… It eats any type of round you put in it… I have never had one malfunction, not one… 2) I own a Brugger and Thomet ACP 9… It’s one of the most accurate firearms that I own… It runs perfect… It was expensive… Brugger and Thomet makes high quality weapons… They are expensive… 3) The scope that you have on that weapon and the mount is questionable at best… Good quality glass can make a big difference in accuracy… 4)When you review a expensive item you tend to to nitpick it to death… The thing is you heap praise on guns like Kel Tec and I believe these are some of the worst firearms made…. They are of very poor quality and jam almost every round… So there is a bit of a disconnect to me… My point in this long response is not every expensive firearm is bad… Some are worth the money…

@@Antiqueanalytics I get what you’re saying, sort of like buy once, cry once. But you also have to understand that Nutn is a reviewer that shows you the VALUE of the gun he’s reviewing. If the weapon is inexpensive, he will likely gloss over things that do not have any effect on accuracy or function; such as flimsy safeties, poor pistol grip designs, cheap feeling handguards, etc. If Nutn finds those things on a gun worth over $3000 wouldn’t you like to know before you bought one? Many people will look at a price of a gun and think “if it’s this expensive, it must be good”. As this video demonstrates, this is not always the case.

For a year or so I was deciding on a high end (expensive) 7.62 rifle. The B&T was in the running, but the more vids I saw on it I realized it was a no. Got down to being between a scar 17, Daniel Defense, HK MR762, and LMT MARS-H. Handled all 4, and really liked the feel of the HK and LMT. Then I found a 13.5 LMT MARS-H on GB for half price, bought it, and love it, but it is quite heavy for sure, but shoots great. Killed two white tail deer last month with it. I'm happy.

I’ve hiked 18 miles with my 12lb 24” 6.5 gasser for a match. Anything lighter than that and you aren’t making hits consistently under time. Just how it goes. Start with a 6lb gun, add a 1” barrel and nice scope, 15” handguard. There we are. Any lighter and it’s hard to get it done.

My ol dd5v3 I honestly would put against any .308 ar-10 in all departments and although there may be 1 or 2 somewhere that would honestly out perform it I don’t see many on here it hasn’t eclipsed. Handloads it’s well under 1”. I’ve got all the goodies fully dressed out $4200 and would pay it a thousand times for the performance I’ve seen. Did you review 1 recently..?

That thing weighs as much with a scope as my SCAR 17 with NF 2.5-10×42 ADM mount, acro p2 ariska mount, liberty mystix suppressor, bi-pod, and loaded mag. Yikes!! My belgian made (oww exotic 😂) Scar cost me $2600 and gets .75 MOA all day long with 168GR fed GMM.

I got an mcx spear in 6.8x51, it’s a chunk but it’s well balanced also. The recoil is less than a 308 but still similar. Shooting 135gr I’ve seen .8 - 1.3” groups. I’m a fan of the mcx which is why I got it and I do enjoy shooting it. Still it’s over priced. I think a fair price would be $3200

I Have B&T APC9K, GHM9SD, and GHM 45, they are great PCC's for sure, but for a rifle caliber there are better choices then B&T

Does it really outperform a PTR-91, which is one third the price?

PTR is a GOAT. Just put a few mags of custom loads thru one yesterday. An FFL buddy has the nicest one I've ever seen, including on the web. Nice shooter, but very loud and lots of recoil... And heavy - definitely a bench gun.

His time is limited. Buy an LMT then arrange to send it to him so he can test it. By the way, it's over $100 to send cause firearms are Priority mail only and it might get "lost" along the way. Oh well.
