I am impressed by your magic trick at the end of the video. :D

I have a jekyll and Hyde v3 and it is a bit of a pain to add that extra patch cable. Having this little switch to just change the pedal order is a huge plus for me

That's a great pedal! Yeah, nothing beats the convenience of flicking a switch!

The pedal is based on the Double Barrel by JHS, but yes, tracing it back past the JHS pedal (and the single pedals that make the DB up), it is based on the TS808 and Bluesbreaker.

By the way, the guitar sounds out of tune. Then again, I'm almost certain it is the G string, which is always out of tune (unless you play with a wound G).

That switching system is crazy. Who has 1 second to press a pedal while on stage?

Great video! I'm looking into getting this pedal. I just want to know more about the 18v and 9v toggle. I'm aware it's for increased headroom and a different tonality.I wanted to ask, is there was any downsides or anything I should be aware of if I leave it on my pedal board at 18v?
@PedalRebel8803 жыл бұрын
It uses a DC step up circuit so unless the BEC itself were to fail, you'll be fine leaving it on either 18v or 9v. I kept mine on 18v for this pedal but 9v on the Fireman Distortion. For fuzz pedal, some even "starve" the circuit by giving it lesser voltage to simulate a dying battery.

In my opinion when reverse polarity is required they should do that internally that is annoying
@PedalRebel8803 жыл бұрын
I agree! It is tiring to be mindful of the polarity sometimes.. but because every brand wants to be unique and have that "proprietary design" , it is always good to check first! Not like me... haha
@austinfailz3 жыл бұрын
Measure three times, cut once, and save on costly repairs / replacements. I agree though, it is kind of irritating to get a new pedal, psyched to try it out, you want to rush to plug it all up... but oh shit, I better check the polarity!
