You’re talking about Colton Cowser, who has a 2.7 WAR. Austin Wells is at 2.9 WAR and Luis Gil is at 3.6 WAR 🤫

I was at ARods 500th HR game in 2007....but....I was late because i got into a car accident so i missed when he hit it in the first inning 😢 lol Earlier that year i was at the game where Roger Clemens announced. AT THE GAME that he was re-signing that year (for $28 million and all these ridiculous perks). I was also at Aaron Judges first 3 HR game last year.

Yanks ended up sweeping and my NY Giants actually won ! What a day its been :-) . Magic # is 1. Were 2.5 games ahead of Cleveland for home field in playoffs. Things are looking good. But today had to have some sort of health issues with the heart, watching Holmes come in and give up a hit, give up a walk and a strike out. Before being removed for Weaver, who is a stud right now. Weaver def showed Holmes today how its done. Can we STOP even bothering to play Holmes ? In the playoffs i can see us REALLY regretting making the move to put Holmes in. Unless we have a 6+ run lead, i dont trust him. Sorry, just being honest. Thanks Derek as always for the videos ;-)

This season really is reminiscent of 96 when the Orioles were favorites to win the division. I remember alomar and Brady Anderson going bonkers. That year.we all know how that season played out, I'm feeling good about this team rn.
@PinstripeTerritoryАй бұрын
Ahh yes. Steroid Brady.
@retrotony4119Ай бұрын
With Holmes shitting the bed again and Boone having to bring Weaver in for 5 batters, that will take its toll. Im afraid they are over exposing Weaver too close to the playoffs.

So thrilled the team took care of business out in Oakland. It was a great road trip. Looking forward to that series we all marked on our calendars before the season started. Cool story about Joe D! I was actually lucky enough to snag an autograph ball from him!

Despite being a .500 club for four months they are going to clinch the division. Baltimore was a year away from being the team some thought they would be, apparently. Rizzo another DJ style rally killer - but at least he strikes out instead of hitting easy DP ground balls. Holmes is a batting practice pitcher these days, he shouldn't see the mound during the post-season any more than Hideki Irabu in the late 1990s.
@TRivera13Ай бұрын
@@OroborusFMA Baltimore may be better next year. But so will the Yankees if they re-sign Soto, the kids take the next step and some dead weight gets off loaded.
@kellyldavis100Ай бұрын
You want to sign Soto? With Hal running things, the money has to come from somewhere. Not signing Torres, and using the money they would have given him, towards Soto’s deal would be a good step, not ALL that will be needed, but a must help. Unless Hal has a come to Jeter moment, and opens the vault, passing on Torres, would just be a first step. Verdugo won’t be coming back, with the emergence of Dominguez, Rizzo may not be back, maybe as a coach, Holmes will command fairly big $$$, but not from the Yanks, Grisham can walk, and even Trevino might not return. Navarez can backup Wells just as well, for a lot less money. To sign Soto sacrifices will need to happen.

A little late to the party, I’ve seen better games, but the most significant event by far was seeing Jeter’s only career grand slam when I was a little kid in ‘04 against the Cubs. I have the tickets from that game framed on my wall w/ a pic of him mid-jump throw
@KingNothing710Ай бұрын
I would have voted for Wells but I feel like he’s cooled off a tad bit, so I’m voting for Gil. I’m loving the speed we got on the team now with Jasson and Jazz and Grisham and Berti off the bench. I’ve been to two Yankee games. Best one was the last game at the old Yankee stadium on September 21, 2008. I remember seeing all the legends and Jeters speech. Getting up to go to school the next morning sucked 😂

Boone should save Holmes for games after he's pitched a position player, so he can come in after him.
@tristanarrowood4146Ай бұрын
Ohtani gets fastballs down the pipe and pitchers try to pitch around Judge so to me it’s not even close. Judge is the better of the two. Great show glad I found it.

You gotta extend Volpe & Wells first. They are homegrown and need to know they are the cornerstones of the future.

The Yankees dis what they are supposed to do. Go up against a weaker team and sweep them. The division is almost in their hands.
@klprsdАй бұрын
It's amazing to me you are the only person in media who brought up the fact Ohtani hit his 3rd HR off a position player throwing 68mph. I saw that and thought to myself i know of star players who would have taken that AB from the opposite side of the plate or with another teammates equipment. If I know Judge like i think i do. the game was already well in hand. he either would have taken a walk or swung at the first pitch in the zone to get the game moving along. Is it just me or does it seem like Ohtani gets a pass on everything?
