I really like the throwback Blues jersey. A very nice tribute to the inaugural Blues jersey. Also, I’m not an All Blacks fan, but black jerseys look great in general. Black is cool and menacing.

I like the canes alternate strip. How long has NZRFU got with Adidas as a major sponsor? I was under the assumption that the super rugby sides were part of that NZRFU sponsorship?

The kit rebranding is a complete step-down for the pro game in NZ imho. They look cheap and nasty, with minimal design and those low-slung collars are atrocious! 🥵 The Adidas Super Rugby kits have always been iconic and a big part of what is great about watching the world’s best provincial competition. Sad times.

Love the throwback Blues jersey. Had an old Crusaders one back in 98 when rugby jerseys were made from the old material and felt like a rugby jersey. Someone needs to get SANZAR to sit down and get South Africa back into Super Rugby. URC is boring as sh*t. The teams are only ever at equal strength for about four weeks of the competition. And those 9.30pm kick offs on a Friday evening are killing the game. We're only three years in and the competition is already going stale.

It looks like all the logos on these jerseys are part of the printing and not ironed on like the Adidas jerseys which is a big step up I think.

Classic have really nailed the NZ Super jerseys for next year - now, I hope they pick up some Australian sides as well eventually! And for quality, Classics are decent - they’re light and breathable, and if the NRL jerseys are anything to go by (I have a few Dolphins ones myself), they’re actually pretty generously sized for retail, so they’re not overly tight like you would imagine

I love that blues throwback jersey and I’m a Hurricanes fan. I think it reminds me of all the greats that wore it including Carlos Spencer who still looks like he could play today.

God, imagine if every Super Rugby side had a heritage jersey - that would honestly be incredible. Not just that, but a line of retro Super 12/14 remake jerseys like what the NRL produces would be fan-fucking-tastic! Imagine how good it would be if you could buy a remake of, say, the original Brumbies or Crusaders jerseys - I could see them being quite popular

Late to viewing this video, nevertheless... Appreciate your review, I really like that the Classic Sportswear have sublimation as opposed to the screen printing adidas had. Sometimes the SuperRugby logo on the sleeve and whatever other logo on the other sleeve felt stiff. I like the Blues alternate jerseys, and agree that it hits the 'fees' when I see them. Jonah and Carlos both came to mind when I saw them. Agree that the Chiefs home and away are great. I like both Canes home and away jerseys. Agree that the Crusaders Away Black jersey is better than theor home jersey. The Highlanders are okay as well. Another thing I like about each teams jersey is that the collars are different to make theie jerseys more unique. Am waiting on my Rebel Sports post to come through to add all Super Rugby home jerseys (except Highlanders for now) and the Hurricanes away jersey to my sole Highlanders away jersey I bought a while back.

Well....i can't really say i like them all that much but will take another look when i can see them in person. The images just make them look like cheap printed t-shirts from cotton on or hallensteins. I see other people have said classics jerseys look better in person. I really hope that's the case because the designs aren't necessarily bad

Classic jerseys often do look a lot better in person - the Dolphins ones in the NRL didn’t look great when images first appeared online, but in person, the colours are quite vibrant, and really pop, so here’s hoping for you NZ team fans. Also, Classic’s sizing is actually pretty generous for their jerseys, so they should fit most people pretty easily

Too many jersey changes have caused disconnection between fans and their supporting teams. Something NZRU should consider to stop. We are doing well the All Blacks jersey. It is all black and a bit of white and everyone in the world knows it and fears it. The point is, having too many types of Super rugby jersey designs over the years is not helping the fans identify with their teams. Please NZRU, make our rugby teams jerseys consistent for the sake of bringing the fans back to stadiums and. Another example is NFL. I know a 49er strip when I see one and I can relate to it instantly. The jersey reminds us of our team's history and the legends of the game. For me, is the Blues. I like the ALL BLUE jersey or use the Auckland white and blue strip with a bit of read for North Harbour etc We identify with the jersey so lets correct this part of game NZRU.

My “two cents worth” - All Blacks for 2027 : No10 has to be Beauden Barrett, why? He has lightning speed, brilliant feet, tackles well but more importantly a line breaker. His one issue shows he is not alone ( RWCF 2023 2 points lost from a 85% kick able position ). Everyone can miss but I believe he is now a very capable kicker - slotted one from an identical point in an earlier RWC 2023 match. I believe he is the No1 FH in New Zealand by quite a margin.
