Basing on a few things they said, it seems like this sketch is about OJ's second trial, many years after the murder one, for something less major (can't recall exactly right now). Fun fact, he escaped the conviction for the murder he most likely committed, solely thanks to great lawyers and some faults on the prosecution's part, only to be imprisoned years later for something else, thanks to a pissed off judge who clearly took some of the past justice into her own hands.

I thought that book part was a joke, then I googled it, it's real, that's the title, and the whole book is how he "hypothetically" did the murder. I think if I were ever accused of murder the last thing I'd want to do is write an entire book about how I'd have hypothetically committed that murder, but that's just me as a non-murderer, can't speak to other perspectives.

Lies. The evidence was all tampered with. One of the officers Even took a sample of OJs blood home with him to do God knows what. And another officer admitted on stand he had in the past framed and planted evidence on African Americans to make cases stick. Also OJ would have had more bruises and lacerations as well. Oj only ever had a small knick on the outside of his finger. OJ couldn't have been in a fight with two people the night before and have no marks not even a bruised knuckle.

@@arm_613 Yeah, he's a Heisman Trophy winner, a world record holder for longest yards ran in a season I believe, a decent enough actor, and hilarious on the Naked Gun series. He had to overcome a lot of adversities in his life to get to where he was. But as the Joker says, "No one's who you think they are..." Jealousy does crazy things to people.

Remember when people thought he was innocent, or at least they pretended he was? I was a kid in the 90's with no cable TV to speak. All I had was FOX Kids and the Disney Afternoon cartoon shows on basic TV, then one day he (OJ) showed up. Fox and ABC covered an endless loop of the same news on him and that trial for months. I remember when I heard the verdict. I was so pissed I threw my Wolverine Weapon X action figure at the screen. He got away with killing two people, and taking my OG Power Rangers, EEK The Cat, Gargoyles, Dark Wing Duck shows taken away for months. Damn you OJ!!!

Obito Uchiha 😂 this comment explains that period of my life as a kid in the 90s to perfection. I was a poor Mexican kid in LA and my cartoons got taken away for what seemed like years, even though it was a few months. I had no choice but to become invested in the trial and when he got acquitted it felt like all my sacrifice was for naught.

I like the sketch but the point of jurors is not to find people who don't know anything about the trial. It's to find people who can realistically/believably claim to be able to give a fair judgement based on the letter of the law and the evidence presented in the court. They can have prior knowledge of the trial or the people related to the trial. The point is that can those people still be able to put aside their opinions or preconceptions and judge the case solely on how it's presented to them in court.
