This song is an absolute classic. But there's a subtle dynamic in the video that always fascinates me. The Gallagher brothers (singer Liam, guitarist/songwriter Noel) had legendary fights that finally led to the band breaking up, so there was always tension and it's evident even in this video. Watch 9:45 where Noel has been singing the refrain through that megaphone and pointing it at Liam's head. At the end he says something clearly sarcastic to Liam and just look at the daggers in Liam's stare afterward even as Noel laughs. You could even see the band all turn to look at Liam when Noel first used the megaphone, to see Liam's reaction. This is a band that probably had PTSD from all the backstage fighting between the brothers.

There was also a Reactor who watched this video and she said "Wait, are they the same person? Is that the same person? Oh wait, they're twins!! But which twin is singing?" Uh, the one who is singing is the one singing! The one whose mouth is moving. They do look like brothers but they definitely do not look like identical twins.

One of the songs most associated with the decade of the 1990s. 'Bittersweet Symphony' by the Verve is another one I recommend you react to Mia. Unlike 'Bittersweet Symphony', 'Wonderwall is life affirming. It is the feeling of euphoria one experiences when going through the first stages of love. Infatuation if you will when you cannot stop thinking about that special someone. Your first crush or just a person you develop deep feelings for. Speaking of feelings, hope you feel better Mia. Mia in the Moment has given me many moments of happiness. Appreciate you and the channel.

I love Oasis. They were huge in the 90's and unfortunately the Gallagher brothers often didn't get along with each other, Liam was the lead singer. This song always hits me and makes me look back on everything and the few people that really had an impact on my life going forward. I'm actually not a huge fan of the video. It kind of distracts from the music and as I've gotten older, I don't watch many music videos anymore. Thank you for posting this one. This video popped up in my feed at the right time for me. They have such a great catalog. A few other great songs are Champagne Supernova, Don't go Away and Don't Look back in Anger. There is a Live show of Champagne Supernova (Mtv Unplugged) and it is such a beautiful rendition with I'm pretty sure his brother Noel on piano. Also, congrats on 30k.

Well done on the 30k Mia! I'm glad you've finally listened to Oasis. Your viewers may disagree, but they were the most popular band throughout the 90s. Don't be put off by the video. Even Noel (who writes all the songs) said he hated doing videos. If you want a livelier song, maybe try Rock and Roll Star or Supersonic. I would recommend watching their documentary titled 'Supersonic' as that will tell you what they are all about. Also you should see a video of their concert at Knebworth in 1996. You won't regret it.

So.....................here's the thing. Almost all people first reacting to Oasis end up reacting this first. It also sets the expectation that this is pace is Oasis's "vibe". You're going to want to keep going, Mia. This is perhaps one of their slowest anthems. Champagne Supernova Live Forever Supersonic Don't Look Back in Anger What's the Story Morning Glory Cigarettes and Alcohol These are all Oasis songs that are more what you're looking for. Fast, heavy, upbeat, etc.

Wonderwall” reached second place in the British singles charts and remained in the charts for 84 weeks. The global hit was released in 1995. The British band Oasis (founded in October 1991) is considered the most successful representative of Britpop and, in addition to their music, is also known for the constant bickering between brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher. The band had sold around 80 million records worldwide by 2014. For the year 2025, the band has surprisingly announced concerts in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada, the United States, Mexico and Australia.

Oasis were a UK band and were heavily influenced by The Beatles... that's why Liam Gallagher (lead vocals) looks and sounds a lot like John Lennon of The Beatles (He was only 23 when this was filmed, I believe)... his older brother Noel Gallagher (guitar/ vocals) wrote 'Wonderwall' in 1995 (He's the one w/ the Paul McCartney haircut & the bullhorn in the video)... Oasis were also tied w/ the 90's alternative rock scene and rose to global superstardom... 'Wonderwall' was Oasis' huge pop single, very similar to The Beatles style... What Oasis did was 'update' what The Beatles did musically in the 60's for the 90's decade. If u want to hear some of the rockin' Oasis songs, I suggest: 'Supersonic' ... "Rock n' roll star"... 'Morning glory' ... "D'you know what I mean"... 'Roll with it'... The Oasis ballads became the big hits - 'Live forever'... "Don't look back in anger" ... 'Champagne supernova'... "Don't go away"... etc. Oasis did not last past 2009... the brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher were always fighting and that split the band up eventually... Both started solo careers and Liam Gallagher was able to establish himself with his solo records from 2017. Recently, Oasis announced a reunion tour in 2025 w/ Liam and Noel reconciling... Tour dates have sold out across the world in stadiums.

Please, please do "Don't look back in Anger" for your next Oasis reaction. Everytime I hear any of their songs it instantly brings be back to the mid 90's when I was in highschool. Goo Goo Dolls too have some really good classic songs you might also like. I usually listen to the live and studio versions or songs I like because sometimes the live performances are so much better. Also, if you like just a singer without a full band, check out "Nothing Compares to You" by Chris Cornell.

Merry Christmas and happy new year Mia. lol I have come to accept that you want to react to songs that have videos and that they have a certain amount of views. I remember you talking about how you wish that you were like a cloak goer in the 80s. Well, that was me in the late 80s. Even though most of my formative years were in the 80s I can tell you that the music of the 70s is actually better. The problem is that you’re not gonna find a lot of songs from the 70s that have videos. But I can assure you that every one of your songs that has 1 billion views I can find at least a couple of songs from the 70s that are superior. But I digress. This is your show and I do like watching it at times. So what I will do is give you a few recommendations from the 80s that have videos. And I’ve tried to pick out a few that are upbeat. Turning Japanese by The Vapors. Tenderness by General Public. Kids In America by Kim Wilde. And We Danced by The Hooters. Something not as upbeat would be. just Like Heaven by The Cure. That’s a good start, but you can throw in some Joan Jett or some Pat Benatar
