Trivia: Vehicle at 3:28-3:30 is British tank destroyer Archer. It was made combining hull of Valentine infantry tank with 17 pounder (76.2 mm / 3inch) anti-tank gun in place of turret. Oh, and gun pointing to the rear? It was intended - for one: to simplify work on construction of vehicle, and two: for planned use in combat. Tactic was to point rear (therefore, gun) in direction of enemy. After few shots Archer was supposed to change position by reversing, or rather (from perspective of driver) go forward. Yeah, that British technic for you... In the end less than 700 was produced in period 1943-1945, which makes quite rare armored vehicle.
@retrodave792 жыл бұрын
A knew it must be an Spanish/French production, at 3:22 you can see spanish army uniforms and hats in desert configuration. I also love the "backward" ""german"" tank, its a british WW2 tank destroyer, the Archer, and yes, its made backwards :)

I mean, never underestimate Jesus Franco's lows, but how on Earth can you make a worse version of Zombie Lake? I thought that was impossible. Color me surprised, although now I'm strategically getting ready that there is a remake of Things and it's worse than the original. That said, core idea of remaking a bad or mediocre movie is something that I dig. People usually remake seminal classics rather than semi-cult movies with some splashes of ideas worth exploring. There are maybe like five of that and from the top of my head I only remember 1982's The Thing and 2012's Maniac (you can argue that both originals are classics and they kinda are, but one is dated and another one is hurt by its budget, so there were things to ry and improve). I'm suspecting that 2001 Maniac is a much better remake of the original Lewis movies, but I haven't seen them both, so I'm yet to compare.
