This was one of my best friend's favourite songs. Every time I went round he was playing it. He commited suicide 7 years ago, we still don't know why. Every time I hear it, I see Corm dancing about his flat screaming the lyrics. It's ok not to be ok, it will get better.. little by little.

We, the people, fight for our existence We don't claim to be perfect But we're free We dream our dreams alone With no resistance Fading like the stars we wish to be You know I didn't mean What I just said But my God woke up On the wrong side of his bed And it just don't matter now Cos little by little We gave you everything You ever dreamed of Little by little The wheels of your life Have slowly fallen off Little by little You have to give it all in all your life And all the time I just ask myself why You're really here True perfection has to be imperfect I know that sounds foolish, but it's true The day has come And now you'll have to accept The life inside your head we give to you You know I didn't mean What I just said But my God woke up On the wrong side of his bed And it just don't matter now Cos little by little We gave you everything You ever dreamed of Little by little The wheels of your life Have slowly fallen off Little by little You have to give it all in all your life And all the time I just ask myself why You're really here Hey Little by little We gave you everything You ever dreamed of Little by little The wheels of your life Have slowly fallen off Little by little You had to give it all in all your life And all the time I just ask myself why You're really here Why am I really here? I love everything about this song, the structure, the bridge, verse, chorus, instrumentation, the restrained guitar solo and the awesome bass line. They are the masters of understatement. I agree with previous posts, the lyrics have no real story but lines resonate with me deeply. The wheels of my life have fallen off and I often wonder why I’m really here. I get how the poster below comments about his friend and his love for the song. If you feel it, you really get it. I never get sick of it. The live videos on KZbin are epic. I think epic is the best word for this song. It has an unexplainable yearning and magic. For me, this is their most underrated song. It’s their best and one of the best songs ever written.

Wow, see if you listen to Noel talk about some things he comes across being arrogant and being a smart ass. But if you listen to his songs. You gotta wonder which Noel is the real Noel..I love this guy's music. He's certainly one of THE BEST songwriters I've ever heard and I'm 62..

Regardless of whom you think is better, It's hard to find a more talented lineage. Pity, they pissed a lot of time away arguing, but I think that's what makes them so good.

"Little By Little" We the people fight for our existence We don't claim to be perfect but we're free We dream our dreams alone with no resistance Fading like the stars we wish to be You know I didn't mean what I just said But my God woke up on the wrong side of His bed And it just don't matter now 'Cause little by little we gave you everything you ever dreamed of Little by little the wheels of your life have slowly fallen off Little by little you have to give it all in all your life And all the time I just ask myself why you're really here True perfection has to be imperfect I know that that sounds foolish but it's true The day has come and now you'll have to accept The life inside your head we give to you You know I didn't mean what I just said But my God woke up on the wrong side of His bed And it just don't matter now 'Cause little by little we gave you everything you ever dreamed of Little by little the wheels of your life have slowly fallen off Little by little you have to give it all in all your life And all the time I just ask myself why you're really here Little by little we gave you everything you ever dreamed of Little by little the wheels of your life have slowly fallen off Little by little you have to give it all in all your life And all the time I just ask myself why you're really here Why am I really here? Why am I really here?

A song that you can not describe in simple words. After all, since the time of the Beatles, such wonderful songs as those of the Oasis have been written. I could say that the magic of Oasis, comes to fill the gaps that belong to the miserable music of today and makes us shudder ... Many words are poverty ...

Amo esta canción, diría que es mi favorita. Oasis me recuerda mucho a cuando tenía doce años y los escuchaba y me hacía sentir triste por no haber sido adolescente en los 90s.
