If I were Obi I couldn’t live with myself knowing I had to do that to my brother, the boy I raised for practically all his life. The man I promised to my master that I would love and protect. The mental health of Obi post ROTS was just … it was something all right. And it never overpowered him, he always stuck to the light.

Because no matter how devastated he was, he knew he had to carry on for the sake of the universe. And because he was Obi-Wan Kenobi, he was able to somehow able to find it within himself to do so. He could not let the Sith win.

The single most underrated and dedicated Jedi of all time. He beat Greivous, Maul and Vader (twice). He held his life long love as she died. He was tasked with stopping his brother in arms. And still, he fought for the good of the universe, even past his self imposed guardianship of Luke. The. Goat.

Personally I still think Obi should've just finished him. Not for any reasons related to the Jedi code, or even because Vader deserves it (although he does), but simply to prevent him from inevitably committing more atrocities. It would be different if he could just be imprisoned, but since that's impossible it's best to do what would save the most lives.

Obi-Wan does not get enough recognition for being one of the strongest Jedi. He stayed true to himself and his convictions through it all.

(Awesome video did you enjoy your holidays?) I really force myself to think Obi-Wan never uses a forbidden attack I truly believe he has a clear shot and he took it, also admittedly Obi-Wan is weak so did Anakin hold back too for Obi-Wan?

Obi Wan didn’t have to climb down anything. He could’ve used the Force to push Anakin into the Lava. It’d take a second to do.

It never occurred to me that for a brief moment, Obi Wan thought Yoda had been killed and he might’ve truly been the last Jedi alive..

I can't respect Obi-Van for these thoughts. I feel in these words a kind of selfishness, cowardness and hypocrisy. If you are Jedi all living being deserve some mercy. You can kill if you must but not leave to die in suсh a cruel way. Сertainly he shouldn't kill Anakin because of the Original Trilogy but this decision should be motivated in another way. He could feel that he was about doing something wrong, something very wrong. For example he could feel that if he do it it would have consiquences. Very bad consiquences for all the worldwide. That would be a noble reason that a hero like Obi-Van deserved.

I don't think Obi-Wan would've kept my respect and admiration if he had killed Anakin. He woud no longer be the Jedi we knew and loved.
