Honestly if I had a store and Uber eats people parked like that I'd just tell them if you don't park right you don't get the food

@ablackney I know I can't make ride share and food delivery go away (though I think Food Delivery in a city by bike is a no-brainer). If we have to endure these things, the city should remove a space or two on blocks with food spots for delivery drives to stop, paint them white, and create the space we need for safety.

I am shocked that there weren't cars parked in front of the trattoria where you moved the cone. I have eaten there several times and the front always has cars in the bike lane.

Maybe those little cones were working, if only for a little while. that little block should have a hard barrier on both sides on Upas from 30th to 30th.

I think he was ride share or food delivery. But cops love to block up these bikes lanes, and never enforce other people blocking the lanes.

I’ve seen a couple walking their baby in a stroller in the exact same spot that dumb woman was walking in, idk what they’re honestly thinking. I know it’s mean but she could’ve easily gotten hit by some kid on an e-bike with a passenger on the back. We know that wouldn’t end well, all because she’s foolish.

People walk all. the. time. without looking. I've also had the instance, only a couple of times, where someone will be walking or jogging in the bike lane, and when I ask them to move, they aggressively will not. Those people are a special kind of dangerous, and I hope I don't encounter it again.

Ride share and meal share (aka uber eats, etc), they act like cargo delivery drivers and just park anywhere to load, unload, pick up food, etc... They are clueless.

I can't stand ride share, and I've never had food delivered by one of these app companies (I miss when places just had their own delivery folks. You'd get to know your pizza delivery person, and they'd take care of you because they knew you, and you're tip went right into their pocket--god, I sound old).

Love the broad platitude, @Letsberealish, but we've been "giving grace" to drivers forever (as evidenced by my not stopping to break windows), and 40k people per year die from traffic violence, so maybe consider the context, and look at the actual problem.
