I’m Malaysian (Ex Mormon). When I was investigating the truth he was one of the first person(s) I found on the internet. When he came to Malaysia I was excited to go listen. He came with Nabeel Q and they both spoke. I didn’t understand at that time but there was a difference between the two when they spoke. Nabeel was filled with the spirit but Ravi wasn’t.

Great clip! Thanks for this....... I read Ravi's autobiography about 4 or 5 years ago, and what really drew me in was his description of his broken relationship with his Dad. I related so much to his experience with his Dad, even though my personal experiences were not nearly as bad as his. I could see, from my personal interpretation of his autobiography, that he was gathering the building blocks to potentially build a double life. I remember thinking that very thought. I carried on a very promiscuous life style for many years, and no one knew a thing. Working through my issues with professional help, got me out of that trap. Thank God. I think Ravi got stuck. So much fallout and damage. God have mercy.

If you look at his conversion testimony there is nothing about turning from sinner to saint. It's just about turning from depressed and suicidal to having purpose. He was probably never a Christian.

This interview is a bit sad to me in that you refer to what Ravi did as a "Personal Failure"! That is one of the sad things in the Church also, the crime of a perpetrator is diminished as a personal failure. Really?

Ravi was the reason I found this ministry. He is also the reason my distrust increased. I thank God though for those who repent and return to Jesus.

It seems to me that J. Warner was essentially saying that Ravi was all style and no substance, or as we say in Texas "All hat and no cattle". My sentiments exactly.

Although I've been Saved since 1/5/1997, I was backslid for most of that time. It wasn't until late September 2018 that I came back around to trying to be a Christian. I invested in Audible books and KZbin videos to learn as much as I could. Ravi was one of the first Apologists I came across. I remember posting in one of my classes at Regent University in early 2019 that I would like to be an Apologist like Ravi and a few others. It is sad to see a person that you admired and looked up to be involved in such a horrendous scandal.

This scandal hit me so very deeply. I was a very involved and, can I say, devoted? follower of Ravi. As an intellectual, how he approached apologetics fueled my own journey to faith. I was soul-broken by the revelations about his awful behavior, mainly due to my own history of sexual abuse. This hurts so badly, I can't breathe when I think of it.

We can learn that people will believe anything that they want to hear. Religion and politics both run on fear and anger under the guise of caring about people and society. The human tendency toward self-delusion is far more powerful than we want to admit.
