I’m not part of the Facebook group because I refuse to make another Facebook, that’s a whole other story, so I apologize if you’ve answered this. I think my problem is I’m expecting these fears, beliefs, and “just right” feelings to be eradicated as part of the recovery process. But what you’re making it sound like is that these fears, beliefs, and feelings aren’t going anywhere. In fact, they probably won’t change or go anywhere within your mind, they are a part of you. But the whole point is to get comfortable and change your relationship with them? You no longer feel you the need to let them make you feel this way? Is that incorrect to see recovery? Do the fears actually get eradicated?
